IIT Guwahati Cutoff 2025: Check JEE Advanced Round Wise Cutoff Ranks

IIT Guwahati JEE Advanced cutoff 2025 ranged from 792 to 10727 for various BTech specialisations. This is the cutoff range during the last round for the students belonging to the General AI quota. To get admission to BDes course offered by IIT Guwahati, candidates must attain the rank as per the category they belong to. IIT Guwahati UCEED cutoff 2025 has been released for the first and the second round for different categories of students in the AII India quota. In 2024 and 2023, the cutoff rank for the same category stood at 46 and 42, respectively in the first round. This shows a fluctuating trend in the cutoff rank since the past three years.

Whether 50 in UCEED a good rank for IIT Guwahati depends on the category the student belongs to. For students belonging to the General AI category, the cutoff rank in round 1 was 77. Therefore, attaing a rank of 50 can secure a seat at the college, for the General AI category candidates. Among the OBC AI category students, the cutoff rank was closed at 44. Thus, for the OBC AI category candidates, it is not possible to get a seat at the college with 50 rank in UCEED. Similarly, for other categories also, it is difficult as the rank required is quite lower. 

Considering the IIT Guwahati JAM cutoff 2025 for the Round 4 seat allotment, an IIT JAM rank of 300 is commendable, but it depends on the branch and category whether you will get admission to IIT Guwahati or not. For the candidates belonging to the General AI quota, a 300 rank would not fetch any course as the General All India category cutoffs are ranging between 61 and 265, so, candidates need to score at least 265 rank to secure any seat at IIT Guwahati. Admission to IIT Guwahati is conducted through IIT JAM scores. Based on the scores, the IIT Guwahati cutoff 2025 is released for the candidates belonging to All India quota for different categories including General, OBC, SC, ST, PWD, and EWS. IIT JAM Counselling is done for the candidates who have qualified for the JAM examination and are willing to take admissions to the courses offered by IITs and other participating institutes. Applicants receiving an offer in any of the rounds are required to login at the official website within the stipulated time and choose one of the three options through Accept and Freeze, Accept with Upgrade and Reject and Quit. 

The candidates will be required to login to the portal to view their status. Applicants who will be offered seat in the First Round must login to Candidate Portal and choose one of the three options discussed above in the stipulated time. If seats remain vacant after the first round of admission, a Second Admission List will be prepared. The candidates who chose Accept and Upgrade in the previous round are required to login to the portal to view their current seat allocation. Applicants who will be offered seat in the Second List must login to Candidate Portal and choose one of the three options discussed above on or before the stipulated time.
