IIT Guwahati Cutoff 2025: Check JEE Advanced Round Wise Cutoff Ranks

After JEE session 2 is completed, only those candidates who are aiming for IITs need to start preparing for JEE Advanced after clearing JEE Main. Those who are above the 98th percentile should start preparing for JEE Advanced as soon as possible. UCEED Round 1 Seat Allotment is out for IIT Guwahati BDes cutoff. UCEED cutoff is released in the form of opening and closing ranks by IIT Bombay, which is the conducting body of UCEED 2024. Candidates with a valid scores in UCEED are allowed to participate in the further round-wise counselling. Tabulated below are the UCEEd R1 opening and closing ranks for IIT Guwahati cutoff 2024 for BDes course for the OPEN All India category candidates:

IIT Guwahati cutoff 2024 was released upto five rounds, wherein, B.Tech. in Biosciences and Bioengineering Last Round was, 9178 for General category candidates at IIT Guwahati - Indian Institute of Technology. For female candidates in general category under All India quota, 17156 was the closing rank. B.Tech cut off varies depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant.

Considering the Last Round rank for General AI category, it can be observed that BTech in Biosciences and Bioengineering had shown a fluctuating trend over the past three years.

Qualifying marks for JEE Mains 2026, also called qualifying percentile for JEE Mains will be announced by the NTA along with the JEE Main 2026 session 2 result. Candidates must note that qualifying percentile for JEE Mains 2026 is the minimum percentile required to appear in JEE Advanced 2026. For admission to NIT or IIITs, there is no provision of qualifying marks in JEE Mains 2026 and admission is given based on All India Rank in JEE Mains exam. IIT Guwahati JAM Cutoff 2024 has been released for Round 2. The most competitive course as per the Cutoff was M.Sc in Mathematics and Computing, for the General AI category candidates, with the Cutoff of 75. For the OBC AI category candidates, the Cutoff for M.Sc in Mathematics and Computing stood at 148.

If not eligible for IIT Guwahati, candidates can opt for IIT Dhanbad with the linient cutoff of 401 or IIT Bhilai with a Cutoff of 511, for M.Sc in Mathematics and Computing for the General AI category candidates. 

IIT Guwahati cutoff 2024 has been released across various specialisations in the form of opening and closing ranks. IIT Guwahati MSc cutoff 2024 ranged between, 75 and 310 for the General AI category candidates, wherein, the top courses with the highest ranks needed were MSc in Mathematics and Computing (75), MSc in Mathematics (193), and MSc in Chemistry (267). IIT Guwahati B.Des cutoff 2024 has been released for UCEED. As per the round 2 cutoff, the closing rank for B.Des was 76 for the General AII India category students. Talking about IIT Guwahati UCEED cutoff 2023, the B.Des cutoff ranged between 70 and 86. So, considering the 2023 cutoff, candidates must secure a rank between 70 to 90 to get into IIT Guwahati for B.Des admission.

The opening and closing ranks for IIT Guwahati cutoff depends on the category and quota of candidates. For general category under All India, opening rank was 601 and closing rank was 654. Cut off are differant when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. In All India, opening and closing rank for female candidates was 204 and 1718. As per the IIIT Allahabad cutoff 2023, the Last Round closing rank for BTech ranged between 5924 and 9558, among which Information Technology was the most competitive specialisation. The Round 1 closing rank for BTech ranged between 4817 and 8428 for BTech. 

So, considering the previous year Round 1 and the Last Round closing ranks, candidates seeking admission to IIIT Allahabad must secure a rank over and above 4800 and 9600 for the General ALL India category candidates.

Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati B.Des admission is based on candidates' performance in the UCEED exam, followed by a councelling process. IIT Guwahati B.Des cutoff 2023 was concluded after Round 3 Seat Allotment Result. Candidates seeking admission to the IIT Guwahati BDes course are required to appear for the UCEED 2023 exam, which is conducted by IIT Bombay. UCEED releases qualifying cut off in the form of mean deviation and standard deviation. Appearing in UCEED 2023 or being on the admission rank list does not guarantee admission to IIT Guwahati BDes courses. Candidates who have passed UCEED 2023 must apply separately to the UCEED participating institute for BDes admission. Apart from passing the UCEED exam, the candidates are required to fulfil the eligibility criteria, category certificates and other documents, as well as the UCEED score, to be verified by IIT Guwahati.

Candidates aiming for admission to the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) need to meet these cutoff marks in JEE Mains to be eligible for JEE Advanced 2026.

Candidates with BTech or BE/ MCA/ MSc/ Graduation (AMIETE) with 60% aggregate or 6.0 CPI are eligible for the M.Tech in IIT Guwahati. Further, there is 0.5% CPI or 5% marks relaxation for SC/ST/PwD category candidates. Candidates must also have valid score in the national level exam GATE exam and they must also participated in the COAP Counselling (GATE not required for the sponsored category).
