How is the JEE Advanced 2026 Result Prepared

JEE Advanced 2026 result is based on the marks secured by the candidates in the exam. The marks are calculated based on the JEE Advanced marking scheme.

Marks calculation subject-wise: The marks obtained by a candidate in Physics in JEE Advanced 2026 will equal the marks scored in the Physics part of Paper 1 plus the marks scored in the Physics part of Paper 2. The same will be true for Maths and Chemistry.

Aggregate marks calculation: The aggregate marks obtained by a candidate in JEE (Advanced) 2026 will be the sum of the marks awarded to the candidate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Marks obtained in Chemistry and Mathematics will be calculated in the same way. The aggregate marks of paper 1 and paper 2 will be added together to get the marks of the candidates out of 360.
