Know what students had to say about the section-wise difficulty level of the exam below:
Pragati, Springdale Modern Public Higher Secondary School, Agra: “I found AILET 2021 easy. In fact, it was not hard at all. I attempted almost 90 questions. Among all the sections, I found Mathematics slightly more difficult. The easiest section for me in the exam was Logical Reasoning.”
Parveen Kaur: “Overall, AILET 2021 was easy. Among the various sections, I found English easy but Mathematics lengthy. In the General Knowledge section, maximum questions were based on Current Affairs for which it was important for a candidate to be well with past year’s news. Questions in the Legal Reasoning section were straightforward. I could complete my paper on time.”
Jainika, Vishwa Bharati Public School, Noida: “The paper was very easy. Legal Reasoning followed by English were the easiest sections. Overall, it was a good paper but I made many careless mistakes. Also, I could manage time properly as it was a lengthy paper.”
Bharati, Amity International School: “For me, the difficulty level of the AILET 2021 exam was easy to moderate. Also, it was a lengthy paper. I could not complete the questions in Mathematics section on time. GK and Legal Reasoning were the easiest sections among all.”
Aditya Singh: “I found the paper lengthy, especially the Logical Reasoning section; it consisted of different types of questions. I found questions in English section of the exam easy and I think I will score well in this section. I did not prepare well for GK but still managed to attempt questions in the section. The Mathematics section was also easy to attempt.”
Shekhar Srivastava: “It was a good paper. Most of the questions in the exam were easy and I managed to attempt them well. Among all the sections, I found Mathematics slightly difficult and the easiest sections for me were English and Logical Reasoning.”
Tushar: “The AILET 2021 exam was easy and doable. Legal Reasoning was the easiest section for me followed by Mathematics. In Legal Reasoning section, there were about five to six questions on Legal Knowledge and rest all the questions were based on Reasoning. In the General Knowledge section, there were more questions on Current Affairs than static GK.”
AILET 2021 Vs CLAT 2021
All the candidates who Shiksha spoke with found the AILET 2021 paper much easier than CLAT. As per Aditya, “The difficulty level of questions asked in AILET 2021 was much lower as compared to CLAT. However, the only problem with the AILET paper was that it too was lengthy.” According to Pragati, “As compared to CLAT, AILET was much better. I found the CLAT paper tough this year.”
