The National Law University (NLU), Delhi, has released the AILET Topper List 2026 after the declaration of results. The AILET 2026 exam was conducted on December 14, 2025. The National Law University (NLU), Delhi, has released the AILET Topper List 2026 after the declaration of results. The AILET 2026 exam was conducted on December 14, 2025. Every year, NLU Delhi releases the list of AILET toppers to help aspirants understand the level of preparation required to secure a top rank in the exam. AILET UG Toppers 2026 list has now released after the result announcement. Candidates must note that the AILET PG Toppers 2026 list will also be released along with the undergraduate results.

Once the National Law University Delhi publishes the AILET 2026 merit lists, it will share the list of top scorers in AILET 2026

The names of some AILET toppers are available. Harshika secured All India Rank 2 in AILET 2026. Parv obtained AIR 5 in AILET 2026. Manvi achieved an All India Rank 6 in AILET 2026. Kanishka secured AIR 7 in AILET 2026. Another candidate, Prathmesh, achieved AIR 8 in the AILET exam 2026.

Q:   What all things are not allowed to be carried in AILET 2027 Examination hall?
A: 

Candidates are not allowed to carry following items to AILET 2027 Examination hall:

  • Electronic gadgets such as mobile phones, calculators etc.
  • Handwritten notes
  • Manuals and digests
  • Any other form of study material

 

Q:   When will AILET 2026 be conducted?
A: 

NLU Delhi conducted the AILET 2026 on December 14, 2025. The admission notification published on the official website - nludelhi.ac.in.  

Q:   What are the things to carry to AILET exam centre 2027?
A: 

On the day of the exam, candidates must carry the following documents and items to the AILET centre:

  • It is a mandatory document to be carried to the test centre; candidates must carry their admit card as issued to them. Candidates without a valid admit card on the day of the exam will not be allowed to take it.
  • Along with the admit card, candidates must also carry an original photo ID proof issued by the Government of India. Documents that can be presented as ID proof include PAN Card, Driving License, Voter ID, Passport, Aadhaar Card, and Ration Card. 
  • Candidates should carry an attested passport-size photograph  (the same as uploaded at the time of filling the application form). 
  • Since the AILET is an offline exam, candidates must carry at least two good-quality ball-point pens of blue or black ink and an HB pencil to the test centre.
  • The certificate is mandatory for candidates who have applied under the Persons with Disabilities (PwD) category.

Q:   When will AILET 2026 first merit list be released?

The AILET first merit was released on the National Law University Delhi website on January 8.

Q:   How many times AILET is conducted?
A: 

AILET is now conducted once in a year, and in month of December. The exam authority, National Law University, Delhi always conducted AILET once in a year, except for year 2022, when the exam was held twice I. e. once in June and then in December. However, the exam authority also notified that it's one time modification, and from AILET 2024 onwards, the exam will be held once in a year. Q:   How will I know about the AILET exam centre allotted to me?
A: 

AILET exam centre 2027 will be allotted along with the admit card. Candidates are advised to check the admit card to know about the exam centre and other crucial details. Apart from name and address of allotted AILET exam centre, the admit card comprises details such as exam date, timing, exam day guidelines etc. Date for admit card release is published along with the information brochure on the official website. Candidates have to download the admit card for AILET after logging and providing details such as application ID, password and others. 

Q:   Why is AILET exam important?
A: 

AILET is important because it is the only entrance exam that law aspirants can qualify and be eligible for most prominent National Law University in India; i.e. NLU Delhi. It is also one of the most competitive law entrance exams for admission to NLU Delhi, as it doesn't accept CLAT score. Apart from this, many Public Sector Undertaking (PSUs) in India accept AILET LL. M. scores for the recruitment of candidates.

Candidates will be able to find out the AILET application form at the NLU Delhi official website. It is mandatory to pay the application fee to complete the registration

The AILET Objection Window will open in December 2027. Candidates will be able to raise objections to the AILET Answer Key within a timeline of 2 days. Once the objections are received, the NLU Delhi will publish the AILET Final Answer Key. Based on that, the AILET Result will be announced.
