The AILET 2026 Exam is now over. The NLU Delhi conducted AILET 2026 Exam in more than 130 test centres across the country. The AILET Exam was conducted in pen-and-paper. Abhinav said that the exam was easy to medium difficulty level. The hardest part was to manage time as you have only 120 minutes to solve 150 questions. The GK section was the hardest. On the scale of 1 to 10, he rated the difficulty level of the question paper as 6.5. He expects the cutoff will go above 100. He prepared for AILET through coaching classes.

Angel said that the exam was really easy in comparison to CLAT. She is happy with her performance. 

Anushka said that the exam was easy. She also felt the difficulty level of AILET Exam was much easier then that of the CLAT. The english section she felt was pretty easy. She found GK section really tough. She prepared through self-study.

Priyansh Agarwal said that his paper was good. But he found GK section the toughest as compared to other sections.

Astha also felt the question paper was quiet easy. She also found GK Section the toughest.

Q:   Is 75 a good score in AILET?
A: 

To crack the AILET exam, candidates must target to achieve rank between 50-60, which means score above 75 will help you land at the NLU Delhi. Candidates must go through the AILET exam pattern, syllabus, and previous year questions to prepare for the exam effectively. The previous year questions will help candidates to get an idea about the kind of questions asked in the exam. 

Q:   Which subject has the maximum weightage in the AILET exam?
A: 

The Logical reasoning section carries the maximum weightage; i.e. 50 per cent in the AILET exam. Reasoning is actually a combination of both verbal logic, as well as analytical reasoning. So, one part is full of numbers and data, while the other is made of words and puzzles. Reasoning needs ample practice. Books by MK Pandey and RS Aggarwal will suffice. For Data Interpretation (DI) questions, the trick lies in forming the table. Once this is done, the rest of the questions flow automatically. Hence, the students are advised to prepare this subject carefully and give special attention.

To crack AILET exam in your first attempt-

  • Create a plan
  • Collect the books along with the previous year question papers
  • Divide equal days to each subject

Many students feel the AILET exam is a bit tougher than CLAT because it has fewer seats and high competition. The AILET syllabus focuses more on reasoning and legal aptitude. Both tests need good preparation, but AILET 2027 usually has a higher cutoff for AILET colleges under NLU Delhi.

Yes, the AILET exam is held only for admission to NLU Delhi. The AILET full form is All India Law Entrance Test, and it's not used by other NLUs. If you want to study law at AILET colleges, you must apply through AILET registration and check the AILET eligibility before applying.
