AILET 2026 Last Minute Preparation Tips

Some tips to keep in mind before appearing for the AILET 2026 are given below

Formulate Time Strategy: The AILET exam pattern is such that the paper is divided into three sections - General Knowledge, English, and Logical Reasoning. Here, candidates need to answer 150 questions in 90-minute duration. Thus, it is advisable to fix a time duration within which the candidate should complete one question/section of the exam.

Experts share that Reading Comprehension passages in the AILET exam are usually very long and a bit difficult to comprehend. Therefore, it is advisable that aspirants keep aside more time to solve this section of the exam. Apart from this, aspirants should fix a considerable chunk of their time to solve questions in the Logical Reasoning section of the exam as well.

Solve AILET Sample Questions: Like any other entrance exam, aspirants should try to solve as many AILET sample papers and previous years’ question papers. Also, while solving these test papers, aspirants are advised to time themselves. Such practice will help them develop a better understanding of how much time they need to keep aside for attempting questions in different sections on AILET exam day.

Know Marking Scheme for Exam: There is negative marking in AILET 2026.

  • For every correct answer candidates will be awarded one mark.
  • For every wrong answer, 0.25 marks would be deducted from the total score.
  • No marks to be awarded or deducted for questions left unanswered.
