CLAT 2026 Exam Day Mistakes

Exam day preparation is also an important factor. Here are some of the common mistakes students should avoid on exam day:

Reaching the test center late: Try to be on time or rather half an hour before the reporting time, to avoid trouble later

Forgetting important documents: Make sure you keep all documents required on exam day a day prior especially CLAT admit card. You will not be allowed inside the exam center if any of the document is found missing.

Do not carry bag, mobile phone or books: The authorities will not allow you to carry any of these hence avoid carrying it to the CLAT exam centre. As per the exam instructions, "Candidates are NOT permitted to carry cell phones or any other electronic items (including calculators, digital watches, and headphones of all types). Such gadgets must be left outside the Examination Hall, and the staff on duty at the test center will not be responsible for any loss of property/gadgets of the candidates."

Forgetting to carry test-taking material: Do not forget to carry blue/black ball point pens.

Not carrying water bottles

Candidates appearing for CLAT must note these common mistakes to avoid and do well in the examination.
