MH CET Law is a major law entrance exam in Maharashtra for 5 year and 3 year LLB programs, conducted by State CET Cell. Candidates who wants to get enrolled in law programmes in future can check MH CET Law student participation data, registration numbers, attendance rates and CAP round details.
MH CET Law is biggest law entrance exam in India after CLAT exam. It is conducted by State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, to grant admission to law colleges across state through Centralised Admission Process. MH CET Law gets conducted in two phases, one for 5 year LLB programme and one for 3 year LLB programme.
Because of huge number of applicants, level of competition for both courses is very high. Across Maharashtra, there are around 11,000 seats available for 5 year LLB course and approximately 16,000 seats for 3 year LLB course. For 5 year LLB, roughly 3 students compete for single seat and for 3 year LLB around 4 to 5 candidates fight for one seat.
With admission season now reaching its final stage, State CET Cell has officially released the CAP Round 3 seat allotment result for the 5 year LLB programme. Candidates allotted seats in this round can check their status online and proceed with college reporting. Meanwhile, CAP Round 3 seat allotment for the 3 year LLB course will be out very soon.

Once the exam is over and MH CET Law results are announced, actual admission journey begins through Centralised Admission Process, commonly known as CAP rounds. This is an online single-window counselling system managed by State CET Cell.
Instead of applying to individual colleges one by one, every qualified student must register on official CAP portal, upload their academic and category documents for e-verification, and submit an option form listing their preferred law colleges in order of choice.
After candidate forms and documents are verified, CET Cell conducts multiple counselling rounds and releases college allotment lists based on test scores, category reservations, and candidate preferences.
If you get your dream college in one round, you can freeze your seat, pay seat acceptance fee online, and report to institute to confirm admission. If you want to try for a better college choice in the next round, you can choose betterment option.

It is important to check the MH CET 3-year LLB marks versus percentile. This is because college admissions are based strictly on your final percentile rank rather than your raw score.
