The Symbiosis Law Admission Test (SLAT) is among the most competitive law entrance exams in India, alongside CLAT, AILET, and MH CET Law. Symbiosis International University will conduct SLAT exam on December 20, & December 28, 2025. With limited time for preparation, candidates must employ the most effective strategies to succeed in SLAT 2026. Yes, admissions for registration 2026 are open at Symbiosis Law School, Noida. SLS, Noida admissions are currently open for all courses. Candidates are selected for courses based on entrance exam scores. i.e., SLAT and AIAT exams as per the course requirements. Aspirants can apply online. Symbiosis Law School admits students based on entrance exam scores. SLAT,  also known as Symbiosis Law Admission Test (SLAT),  is a common entrance exam for admission to SLS Noida. SLAT (Symbiosis Law Admission Test) is conducted by Symbiosis International (Deemed University), which is commonly referred to as SIU. However, for the LLM course, candidates are selected based on the All India Admission Test, followed by a Personal Interview.

She took SLAT in 2019 as well as, LSAT India, MH CET Law and CLAT. She secured 115 marks out of 150 for SLAT exam. To prepare for SLAT she

  • Prepared Reading Comprehension. Logical Reasoning and Analytical Reasoning separately
  • Took mock tests to improve in each section
  • Worked on time-management skills for each section
  • Referred to coaching study material and mock tests for daily preparation

Livie Jain

She appeared for SLAT in 2018 and found it to be easier than CLAT and AILET. She shared to prepare for SLAT exam along with other two law entrance exams, she had:

  • Made a preparation strategy with the focus on three subjects including GK every day
  • Worked harder to improve on key improvement areas after self-analysis of strengths and weaknesses
  • Revised all the topics from each subject multiple times to polish up the skills

Q:   Is SLS Hyderabad's BA LLB admission process entrance-based?
A: 

Candidates looking to get admission in the BA LLB course at SLS Hyderabad need to appear for the SLAT (Symbiosis Law Aptitude Test). The admission process for BA LLB as well as BBA LLB are both entrance-based. Candidates with a minimum of 45 % in Class 12 without any compartments are eligible for the five-year BA LLB course.

Q:   Is it tough to get admission to B.A LL.B at Symbiosis Law School?
A: 

The answer to this depends upon the qualification of candidates and how they perform in the Symbiosis Law Admission Test (SLAT) exam 2026. Students who has Class 12 or equivalent examination from any recognised board with a minimum of 45% marks or equivalent grade are eligible for appearing for the SLAT exam 2025. Based on the scores of SLAT, candidates are shortlisted by the SLS. The selected candidates have to then appear for Personal Interview (PI) and Written Ability Test (WAT). Further, based on the scores of SLAT, PI and WAT a merit list is drawn for admission in respective Symbiosis law schools. 

 

Q:   How can I get admission to LLM in symbiosis?
A: 

Symbiosis International University (SIU) conducts the Symbiosis Law School All India Admission Test for admission to the LLM course every year. To apply for SLS entrance exam, candidates must have cleared five-year of three-year LLB degree from a recognised university with a minimum of 45% aggregate in case of General category candidate.

For candidates belonging to SC or ST category, the minimum required percentage is 40%. Also, the candidates whose LLB results are awaited can register for the entrance test. Provided, they will have to submit their passing certificate at the time of admission to the university. 

Q:   Is it hard to get into SLS Noida?
A: 

Admission to Symbiosis Law School, Noida, is based on an entrance exam followed by an online PI. Symbiosis International (Deemed University) conducts SLAT/AIAT annually. The exam shall be held in computer-based test mode. The duration of the test is 60 minutes, and there are 60 MCQs of 70 marks in the test.

No, it is mandatory to clear the SLAT Exam to be eligible to appear in the counselling process. Candidates will be allocated a seat based on the college they choose during the counselling, and hence, without clearing the exam, it is not allowed.

SLAT preparation is easy. Create a proper schedule to prepare for the exam on a daily basis. Allot more time to practicing and studying law topics. It takes 6 to 8 hours of revision if you make a section-wise plan. This entrance is comparatively easy to other top law entrances.
