VITLEE Analysis 2026: Get Detailed Paper Analysis & Review

Each section carries 20 marks for VITLEE. There are five sections from which questions are asked in the exam. They are:

·       English

·       General Knowledge and Current Affairs

·       Logical Reasoning

·       Quantitative Aptitude

·       Legal Reasoning

Questions related to Assertion, Reason, Analysis and Relation are covered in the Logical Reasoning section of VITLEE 2027. In all, 20 questions are asked under each segment. There is no negative marking in VITLEE.

·      Subject-Verb agreement

·      Conjunctions

All VITLEE questions are Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) and are asked from English, General Knowledge and Current Affairs, Logical Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude and Legal Reasoning

A total of 100 questions will be asked in VITLEE 2027. There will be five sections in the exam, and each section will have 20 questions. There is no negative marking in the exam.

The Vellore Institute of Technology Law Entrance Examination (VITLEE) is conducted for admission to Undergraduate Law Programmes at VIT Chennai. VITLEE is conducted across 53 cities in India. It enrolls students in various undergraduate courses like; B.A. LLB, BBA L.L.B (Hons.), offered at the Chennai Campus. 

The eligibility criteria for VITLEE 2027 are expected to be following:

·      Must be Indian Nationals

·      Candidates born on or after July 1, 2005

·      Class 12 exam from a recognised board with Physics, Chemistry, and Math/Biology. 70% aggregate marks (10% relaxation for SC/ST candidates and candidates from Jammu and Kashmir/ Ladakh and the North Eastern States of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura.

Candidates born on or after July 1, 2005 can apply for VITLEE 2027. Candidates should have passed Class 12 exam from a recognised board. Students should have scored 70% aggregate marks (10% relaxation for SC/ST candidates and candidates from Jammu and Kashmir/ Ladakh and the North Eastern States of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura.

After clearing the admission process, candidates are admitted into 5-year LLB programmes of VITSOL. VITLEE is held to enroll students in various undergraduate courses like; B.A. LLB, BBA L.L.B (Hons.), offered at the Chennai Campus. The syllabus for VITLEE includes questions from five areas namely English, GK and current affairs, logical reasoning.

As per the guidelines issued by the examination body, candidates should not mutilate the admit card or change any entry made therein after it has been authenticated and received by them. At the time of verification, if such a discrepancy is found, the admit card stands cancelled.

Candidate need to report to the test centre with the physical copy of admit card along with one of the following ID proofs: School ID Card / HSC Hall Ticket / Masked Aadhar Card / Passport / Driving License / Voter ID Card / PAN Card.

VITLEE Law exam and JEE are not same type of tests, so their difficulty depends on what you are good at. The VITLEE law entrance exam is for admission to law stream. JEE, on the other hand, is for engineering and focuses on physics, chemistry, and math.

Yes, VITLEE 2026 will be conducted in MUZAFFARPUR and PATNA cities of the Bihar state.

Candidates are advised to preserve the Vellore Institute of Technology Law Entrance Examination (VITLEE) admit card till the counselling process is over. It is an important document which is required as a proof at the time of admission.
