NMAT Colleges for 190-210 Marks: The Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) conducts NMAT exam for admission to MBA/PGDM courses. Over 50 colleges accept NMAT scores for admission in India and abroad. While candidates securing above 230 marks in NMAT may get shortlisted for almost all institutes, candidates securing below 210 will have to consider their options.
Earlier, NMIMS Mumbai was among the NMAT colleges with highest cutoff scores, ranging above 230 marks. However, SVKM's NMIMS has restructured the admission process with a standard cutoff for all NMIMS campuses. NMAT NMIMS cutoff for all campuses range between 208-210. Understanding NMAT Scoring Criteria
Before checking the list of NMAT colleges with 190-210 cutoff score, one must understand how they are scored in the NMAT exam.
- Exam Structure: NMAT exam comprises a total of 108 questions divided equally into three sections. Candidates have 120 minutes to complete the test.
- Scoring Range: Each of the three sections has a score range of 12 to 120. Therefore, overall NMAT score ranges between 36 and 360.
- Adaptive Testing: NMAT is an adaptive test. The difficulty level of a question varies based on the performance of a candidate in the previous question. NMAT score is scaled to equate the performance of all candidates across a common scale.

NMAT scorecard issued inside the login dashboard indicates the adjusted raw marks of a candidate after considering the difference in the difficulty level for all candidates. Scaliong of NMAT scores ensures fairness while evaluating candidates getting different question while appearing for the NMAT exam.
Before the scaling of scores, GMAC evaluates each candidate's performance based on the actual number of correct answers and incorrect responses by the candidates. NMAT reports the scaled score to candidates and institutions.
NMAT scores are accepted for admission at more than 50 b-schools. There is no common admission policy for all NMAT participating colleges. All participating colleges for NMAT will set its own eligibility conditions, cutoff scores, academic requirements, work experience preference, and selection process.
Some of the NMAT participating colleges may have selection rounds, such as Written Ability Test (WAT), Group Discussion (GD), or Personal Interview (PI). Some b-schools may have more weightage for NMAT scores, while some might have more weightage for the internal selection rounds.
Candidates can take NMAT up to three times during one admission session. Candidates are allowed to register for NMAT and schedule an exam attempt. However, the acceptance of NMAT scores depends on the NMAT participating colleges. All NMAT colleges will have different selection criteria. Some of the NMAT colleges, such as NMIMS will only accept the NMAT score from first exam attempt. Therefore, attempting NMAT exam three times will be of no use if the applican t is desirous of admission to any of the campuses of NMIMS.

NMAT Selection Process
Securing an NMAT score of 190-210 is only the first step. Candidates meeting the NMAT cutoffs are shortlisted for further selection rounds. There is no centralised selection process for admissions via NMAT scores. Candidates have to fill the admission forms of the desired NMAT colleges by visiting the institute's website. All NMAT colleges have distinct selection criteria with different parameters. Some of the common selection parameters for MBA colleges include group discussion, written ability test, and personal interview.
- Group Discussion (GD) / Case Discussion (CD): Most of the MBA colleges have a GD round in the selection process. Candidates are usually given a topic for discussion in a group.
- Written Ability Test (WAT): Several NMAT participating colleges will have a Written Ability Test Written This stage measures written communication skills. Candidates are given a topic and a strict time limit (usually up to 20 minutes) to formulate a written response.
- Personal Interview (PI): A direct discussion with the college's admissions team. Questions generally focus on the candidate's career goals, profile, and knowledge of current affairs.

No, you cannot get direct admission into Amity University, Noida for the MBA/PGDM course. Students have to either attempt the CAT or the NMAT exam for admission and then sit for the selection process (if qualified), which involves GD (Group Discussion) and PI (Personal Interview).
