NMAT Exam Fees 2026: The Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) has released the application form for NMAT 2026 exam on its official website. To be eligible to appear for the examination, a candidate must register, fill out the online form, pay NMAT test fees, and schedule the examination before the last date. Only registered candidates will be issued NMAT admit card to take the examination. The official structure of NMAT exam states that a candidate can take a total of three attempts of the test (first attempt plus two retakes), and for each retake, the applicant will have to pay the registration fees again. The NMAT exam fees include the fee amount plus tax amount, and it has to be paid in online mode only. NMAT exam is conducted by GMAC three times during one MBA admission session. GMAC facilitates the three exam takes within a testing window. The test window for NMAT ranges around 45 days. Once the candidate has a valid score, he/she can compete the retake registration process and schedule any date that is 15 days after the previous attempt.
Candidates can choose to appear for NMAT up to three times on chosen dates within the test window specified by GMAC. Of all the three test scores, best exam score is sent to the NMAT participating colleges, chosen by the applicant while filling the form.
Graduate Management Admission Council conducts the NMAT exam within a particular exam timeline. Every year, NMAT exam is usually scheduled to be conducted in the last quarter of a calendar year. Candidates are able to take the exam until December. Candidates can appear for the NMAT exam three times during the testing window. NMAT 2026 registration is open at mba.com. Candidates must ensure they fulfill the NMAT eligibility criteria 2026. Candidates can complete the NMAT registration process 2026 by following steps shared below:
- Open GMAC official website (mba.com/nmat) and click on Register for NMAT by GMAC
- Enter name, email address, and password to register.
- Log in with created account ID and provide details, including personal information, contact details and academic history.

Do I Need to Fill Separate Forms for NMAT and Participating Institutes?
Yes, if a candidate wants to get admission to an accepting B-school or institute, they will have to fill out a separate form for admission. The NMAT test form is only eligible to appear for the exam. As each NMAT participating institute has its own admission window and deadlines, candidates must stay updated on their official websites. Also, some of the accepting institutes only accept NMAT scores from the first attempt. Therefore, before selecting an MBA school in the NMAT online form, candidates must check their target college's admission criteria.

Yes. Candidates can choose an exam date to appear for NMAT while scheduling the exam. GMAC provides the facility of convinient slot with NMAT to help candidates prepare well and controlling the exam anxiety. Candidates who fill and submit the NMAT form are allowed to schedule the exam after paying the application fee. While choosing an exam slot to appear for NMAT, candidates have to choose an exam centre followed by choosing the available slot in a particular centre. Candidates cannot chose an exam date after the scheduling window has been closed.
NMAT scheduling refers to booking slot for the test. In case of any change in the scheduled date, candidates can choose NMAT rescheduling window and choose a new date.
Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) conducts NMAT exam in an online mode. Online NMAT exam is conducted from Pearson VUE centres situated across India. Candidates need to appear at the chosen test centre to appear for the computer based NMAT exam. At the NMAT exam centre, each candidate is allotted a computer system where he/she has to login to take the test. Once the candidate logs in to the computer system, the responses will be recorded against the test taker ID. Further, this test taker ID will be helpful while evaluating performance of indicidual test takers.
