How to Fill NMAT Application Form?

Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) is now accepting NMAT application forms 2026 online at official website. Candidates who wish to get admission through NMAT exam must register for the entrance test before last date. As per official notice released by GMAC, the last date to register for NMAT exam is October 10. Interested candidates can fill out the NMAT application form 2026 at mba.com/nmat. After the registration window closes, GMAC will open the NMAT slot booking window.

With NMAT scores, candidates can get admission to MBA and PGDM courses across multiple B-schools, including NMIMS Mumbai, TAPMI Bengaluru, K J Somaiya Institute of Management, and XIM University. How to Fill NMAT 2026 Application Form?

To sit in NMAT exam, candidates have to fill and submit NMAT online form carefully. Below are the steps to register for NMAT exam 2926:

1. Visit the official website (mba.com/nmat)
2. Click on Register for NMAT by GMAC
3. Enter name, email address, and password to register.
4. Log in with created credentials.
5. Fill out details asked in NMAT application form, including:
   • Personal Details
   • Contact Details
   • Academic History
6. Select MBA course and Business Schools (The registration fee includes score reporting to five participating programs.)
7. Upload required documents in specified dimensions.
8. Pay NMAT application fee via Net Banking, Debit Card, Credit Card or UPI.
9. Once payment is confirmed, open exam scheduling dashboard.
10. Select preferred NMAT test date, time slot and exam centre.

NMAT Registration 2026: Eligibility Criteria

Before filling out the registration form, candidates must check the NMAT eligibility criteria to know whether or not they are eligible to apply for the exam. Check below to know the basic eligibility requirements:

• Qualifying Degree: A bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised university or institute.
• Minimum Marks: A minimum aggregate of 50 per cent marks in graduation is required by most institutes.
• Final Year Students: Candidates in the final year of their bachelor's degree program can apply provisionally.

Note: NMAT eligibility only grants permission to take the test. Candidates must also meet the individual admission criteria of each participating college.

How to Schedule for NMAT Exam?

After paying NMAT form fee, candidates have to schedule for the examination on GMAC NMAT dashboard. Candidates must note that NMAT scheduling is done on first-come, first-served basis. Check below to know how to schedule for the exam:

1. Log in to the NMAT Account at mba.com/nmat
2. Click on Schedule Exam
3. Select the date and time of the test
4. Select the preferred location
5. Pay the rescheduling fee via Credit Card only
6. Click on the ‘process’ button

Do I have to Register Again for NMAT Retake 2026?

Yes, candidates have to register again for the NMAT retake exam. GMAC offers candidates three attempts to appear for the NMAT exam. To be eligible for the retake exam, candidates have to login at NMAT dashboard. The retake registration button for NMAT is activated only after a candidate has appeared for the first attempt. However, candidates must note that there must be a gap of at least 7 days between scorecard issuance and the next exam date. To complete the NMAT retake registration process, candidates have to pay the form fee again and schedule the next exam date after submitting the form.
