MBBS admission 2025 in India is done on the basis of NEET UG which is conducted by NTA. It is the only entrance exam for government, private, and deemed top Medical colleges. Candidates must register, qualify with the required cutoff, and participate in the counselling. MCC takes care of all the All India Quota (AIQ) seats and the state authorities manage state quota admissions.

To be eligible, candidates must pass Class 12 in the Science stream with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology, English (which shall include practical tests in these subjects) and Mathematics subjects, securing at least 50% marks (40% for SC/ST/OBC). The minimum age is 17 years.

Popular colleges are AIIMS Delhi, CMC Vellore, JIPMER, etc. Government MBBS fees can range from INR 10,000 to 50,000 per year. But, PG courses cost around INR 3 Lakh to 25 Lakh.

MBBS is ideal for students who are interested in medicine and patient care.
