Candidates may note that majority of the Government medical colleges of India have a NEET cutoff score above 600 for the General category candidates. Hence, those with scores in the range of 500 may not be able to get a seat in their dream college, but the chance to get a government medical college seat is still not lost.
NEET aspirants must note that the above mentioned cut off marks for the General category is that of last year, i.e. 2020. The NEET 2021 cut off marks will be updated soon after it is officially released.
The NEET 2021 counselling for the 15 per cent All India Quota (AIQ) seats is expected to be announced by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) in the second week of January 2022. The state-level counselling for the 85 per cent seats is underway for certain states.
