Admission through NEET: The admission to Dentistry courses across India is conducted through the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET). Upon qualifying for the exam by clearing the cutoff, candidates will have to participate in the counselling process conducted by national and state-level admission authorities.

Duration: The duration of the Dentistry course depends upon the level of the programme. The UG level Dentistry programme or Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) is of five years duration including one year of internship. On the other hand, Master in Dental Surgery (MDS) programme is of three years.
