NEET Application Form 2026 (OUT): Registration Last Date, Link, Fees, How to Apply

Yes, the NEET 2026 application form has been released. The NTA released the form on February 8, 2026. Candidates can apply online till March 8, 2026.

The last date to apply for the NEET UG 2026 exam is March 8, 2026. The NTA makes the NEET application form 2026 available for around 30 days.

In NEET 2026 application process, the NTA has introduced the live photo capture facility for candidates. Those applying online for the exam need to capture their live photograph as per the given guidelines-

• Six to eight passport-sized photographs

NEET aspirants or students should have the following information handy to generate their APAAR ID:

·         Student name as per Unified District. Information System for Education (UDISE) and Aadhaar Card

·         Permanent Education Number (PEN)

·         Date of Birth

·         Gender

·         Mobile Number

·         Parents' Names

·         Aadhaar Number

Candidates must ensure that the personal information match with their Aadhaar details. The following steps have to be followed to generate the APAAR ID:

·         Visit the official website of the Academic Bank of Credits (ABC)

·         Click on 'My Account' and further select 'Student'

·         Click 'Sign Up' and enter mobile number, address and Aadhaar Card details to create DigiLocker account, or click on 'Sign in' in case account already exists

·         Give consent to share Aadhaar card details with ABC for KYC verification by clicking on 'I Agree' checkbox

·         Enter the academic details

·         Submit the form to generate APAAR ID.

Candidates need to fill the NEET application form online. Morever, candidates need to pay the NEET form fees online through credit card/ debit card, net banking or UPI. In case of any technical or server issues, candidates can visit the Common Service Centres (CSC).

If candidates submit the NEET application form with an incorrect email address, they will not receive email notifications. NTA does not allow candidates to change or correct their email addresses in the application correction window.

NTA will open the NEET application correction window after the closing of registrations. The duration of NEET application correction will be three days. The application correction window is available only for candidates who will complete the NEET application process by paying the application fee.

NEET form correction process is given below-

• Visit the NEET website and click on the Correction Window is Live link.
• Click on the Existing Candidate Login and enter your Registration Number and Password and log in your application form. 
• The application form will open on your computer screen. Click on the Correction tab and read the instructions.
• Read the instructions and enter the OTP sent on your mobile number
• Check each section and make necessary changes on the applicable fields

In that case, they have to click on the Forgot Your Password or Forgot Your Application tabs and retrieve it either through Security Question or through Reset Link sent to their registered email address. In case of retreiving the NEET application number, they have to enter their names, email address and the Security Pin and submit. The application number will be sent to their registered email address. 

Candidates can face problem while filling the NEET application form or while paying the application fee. This may be because of the server issue or high traffic on the website. NTA advises candidates to check internet connection while filling up the application form. In case the issue prevails, one should connect with the assigned person on the helpline number given in the NEET information bulletin.

Yes, it is necessary to correct your father's name in the Aadhaar card as per your Class 10 mark sheet before filling the NEET application form. Since the National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the notification mentioning the mandate of Aadhaar Card for the application process. NTA has stated, "Aspirants are advised to ensure that their Aadhaar details (especially their name and date of birth as per 10th passing certificate), including facial recognition data, are up to date for an optimal experience during registration process and verification processes. This can be done at the nearest Aadhaar Enrollment/Update Center." Also, this year, the Aadhaar number will be used to auto-fill the NEET application form to reduce manual errors. A GAP Certificate is not required when filling out the NEET application form. Also, a GAP Certificate is not required for All India Quota (AIQ) or State Quota (SQ) counselling.
