Eligible candidates need to undertake the registration process and fill out the NEET application form 2026 at neet.nta.nic.in. The application process involves capturing live photo and uploading documents in the required size and format. In case candidates are not allotted any seat in the second round of the NEET UG counselling, the earlier allotted seat in Round 1 will be retained. NEET Live Photo Capture Guidelines 2026
Candidates need to capture their live photos on the NEET application form 2026 as per the guidelines shared below-
- Candidates should switch on the camera or connect the webcam to their device while filling the form.
- If the device does not support the webcam, then candidates need to scan the QR code on the right side of the form.
- The background should be light-coloured.
- The NTA will match the captured live photograph with the Aadhaar database.
NEET Photo Requirements 2026 by NTA: Size & Format
Candidates need to upload two types of photos on NEET 2026 application form- passport size and postcard size. The NEET photo format should be JPG/ JPEG format. Candidates should make sure they upload clear scanned images as per the specified dimensions on the online form.
