The National Testing Agency (NTA) has started the registration for the NEET UG 2026. Eligible candidates need to undertake the registration process and fill out the NEET application form 2026 at neet.nta.nic.in. The application process involves capturing live photo and uploading documents in the required size and format. As per the NEET document upload guidelines by NTA, candidates need to capture the live photo, upload the photos, signature, thumb impression, left & right fingers and others on the form. The NTA has specified the size, format and dimensions in the NEET notification 2026. Documents Required for NEET Registration 2026
Candidates need to upload several documents on the NEET form 2026. The application form cannot be submitted without the required documents. Have a look at the list of documents required for NEET 2026 application form below-
- Passport-size photograph
- Postcard-size photograph

- Class 10 Pass Certificate, Mark Sheet & CGPA to percentage Conversion Certificate

Yes, the NEET OMR sheet 2026 has been released on the official website. Candidates can access their OMR response sheets by using the login link.
No, the RE NEET 2026 was not postponed. The exam was held as scheduled on June 21.
The NTA released the NEET OMR sheet 2026 on July 13 and also provided the opportunity to challenge the responses recorded of the candidates till July 15. Candidates can download the OMR answer sheet using the application number and password.
In case candidates are not allotted any seat in the second round of the NEET UG counselling, the earlier allotted seat in Round 1 will be retained. However, on up-gradation of a seat in the second round, the earlier allotted seat in Round 1 will automatically be cancelled and allotted to another candidate. Therefore, candidates are advised to fill in only higher choices or any other choice which they prefer over the earlier allotted seat, for second round.
NEET Live Photo Capture Guidelines 2026
Candidates need to capture their live photos on the NEET application form 2026 as per the guidelines shared below-
- Candidates should switch on the camera or connect the webcam to their device while filling the form.
- If the device does not support the webcam, then candidates need to scan the QR code on the right side of the form.
- The background should be light-coloured.
- The NTA will match the captured live photograph with the Aadhaar database.
NEET Photo Requirements 2026 by NTA: Size & Format
Candidates need to upload two types of photos on NEET 2026 application form- passport size and postcard size. The NEET photo format should be JPG/ JPEG format. Candidates should make sure they upload clear scanned images as per the specified dimensions on the online form. Candidates participating in Round 1 NEET counselling will have to choose from entire gamut of seats. From second round onwards, seat matrix is released in terms of newly added seats and clear and virtual vacancies. With each round of counselling, number of available seats or vacant seats reduces.
The NEET OMR sheet is the sheet on which responses are marked by candidates on the exam day. The OMR stands for Optical Mark Recognition. The sheet contains the bubbles against each question numbers. Candidates need to fill the bubble of the correct option. The answers marked on the OMR sheet are checked digitally so candidates must fill the sheet carefully.

NEET Signature Upload Guidelines 2026 by NTA: Size & Format
Candidates need to upload the scanned signature on their NEET online form. The scanned image should have full signature in running handwriting on white paper. The NTA will reject the application forms with no signature. Have a look at the NEET signature size, format and guidelines below
