NEET 2026 Photo, Signature & Document Upload Guidelines by NTA
The National Testing Agency (NTA) will soon release the online application form for the NEET UG 2026. Eligible candidates will have to take the NEET 2026 registration and fill out the form online at neet.nta.nic.in. The NEET application process involves uploading of documents in the required size and format. As per the guidelines by NTA, candidates need to upload photo, signature, thumb impression, left & right fingers and other documents on the NEET application form 2026. The NTA specifies the size, format and dimensions as upload document guidelines in the NEET notification 2026. Candidates who will be applying for the NEET exam should know the documents upload guidelines. Candidates cannot upload the documents unless the required size and formats are met.

Documents Required for NEET Registration 2026
Candidates need to upload several documents on the NEET 2026 registration and application form. Have a look at the list of documents required for NEET 2026 application form below-
- Passport-size photograph
- Postcard-size photograph
- Left and right-hand fingers
- Thumb impression
- Signature
- Class 10 Pass Certificate, Mark Sheet & CGPA to percentage Conversion Certificate
- Identity Proof (for those candidates who do not provide Aadhaar or Digilocker details)
- Address Proof (Present and Permanent)
- Category Certificate, if applicable
- PwBD Certificate, if applicable
- Citizenship Certificate (for NRI/OCI/Foreign citizen candidates)
NEET Photo Upload Guidelines 2026 by NTA: Size & Format
Candidates need to upload two types of photos on NEET 2026 application form- passport size and postcard size. The NEET photo format should be JPG/ JPEG format. NEET Signature Upload Guidelines 2026 by NTA: Size & Format
Candidates need to upload the scanned signature on their NEET online forms. The scanned image should have full signature in running handwriting on white paper. The NTA will reject the application forms with no signature. Have a look at the NEET signature size, format and guidelines below

NEET Thumb Impressions, Left and Right Hand Fingers Guidelines 2026
Students need to upload the scanned images of left hand fingers, right hand fingers and thumb impressions on the NEET 2026 online application form. Have a look at these document specifications below-

Yes, it is mandatory to appear for the ToGIGE even if the candidates have appeared for the NEET exam. The ToGIGE is a part of the selection process post the NEET exam. Those aspirants who clear the NEET cutoff are only eligible to appear for this test.

Yes, qualifying the NEET entrance exam is mandatory for MBBS admission in Kerala colleges, including for both government and private quota seats, as per NMC regulations. Candidates just have to clear an entrance exam and participate in counselling process for admission.
