In the latest news, the Indian Institute of Management, Shillong, (IIM Shillong) has announced that it will offer the Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) programme. IIM Shillong has become the seventh IIM to offer the IPM programme. The institute has extended this golden opportunity to the students aspiring to begin their journey in the field of management and business studies.
IIM Shillong, established in 2008, is a leading management institute in India. IIM Shillong will accept IPMAT Indore 2025 scores for the current academic session. The last date to register for the IPMAT 2025 exam was April 1, 2025. The IPMAT Indore exam 2025 is scheduled to be held in the computer-based test mode on May 12, 2025. The varsity has not yet released much information regarding the IIM Shillong IPM programme but has announced that for admissions to this academic session, it will accept IPMAT Indore scores.
IIM Shillong IPM Eligibility Criteria
The following eligibility criteria is to be fulfilled in order to take admission to the IPM course at IIM Shillong:

The candidate should have scored a minimum of 60% aggregate in Class 10/SSC and Class 12/ HSC or equivalent examination in the case of the General and NC-OBC categories.
- The candidates must have passed the qualifying examination in 2023, 2024 or in 2025.

The candidate should be a maximum of 20 years of age as of July 31, 2025.

The candidate should have scored a minimum of 55% aggregate in Class 10/SSC and Class 12/ HSC or equivalent examination in the case of SC, ST and PWD (DA) categories

The national level test, IPMAT, is a gateway for admission to 5 year Integrated Program in Management offered at IIM Indore. IPMAT is a combination of a Bachelor degree and a Masters degree offered by IIM Indore. The programme is made for students who wish to take up a career in managerial and business fields. The students will be provided with a Bachelor of Arts (Foundations of Management) and a Master of Business Administration by IIM Indore at the end of the programme.
IPMAT scores will also be accepted by the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade for its Integrated Programme in Management. Aspirants will be awarded Bachelor of Business Administration (Business Analytics) and Master of Business Administration (International Business) at the completion of the programme.

The first IPMAT exam was conducted in the year 2011. IPMAT was initially accepted only for admission to the five year integrated management programme (IPM) offered by IIM Indore. From 2022 onwards, the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) also started to accept IPMAT scores for admission to its Integrated Programme in Management.
Later, in 2023, IIM Indore announced that the IPMAT scores will be accepted by a few other institutes too for admission to their BBA programme. Institutes such as the Indian Institute of Ranchi, Alliance University, Indian7 University, Department of Management Studies, NALSAR University of Law and Institute of Management, Nirma University will also accept IPMAT scores for admission to the Integrated Programme in Management (IPM).
So to answer your question, yes, IIM Ranchi will also accept the IPMAT scores which is conducted by the Indian Institute of Management, Indore.
IPMAT Indore scores are also accepted by IIM Shillong, IIM Amritsar, IIM Sirmaur, etc.
