The BBA season is ongoing with top BBA entrance exams such as IPMAT, CUET, etc. scheduled to be held in May. Shiksha.com conducted a recent poll to gain insights into the BBA entrance exam preference of the students seeking admission to the BBA programme. Read the article below to know what they had to say.

A recent poll conducted by Shiksha.com has shed light on the students' BBA exam preferences along with IPMAT 2025. The poll highlighted that CUET remains a top choice alongside IPMAT Indore as an alternative choice for BBA entrance exam. IPMAT and CUET are both scheduled to be held in May 2025. The results indicate a diverse approach, with CUET 2025 exam emerging as the most popular secondary option among aspirants.

According to the poll:

34% of students have registered for CUET alongside IPMAT Indore, showing the relevance of the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) as a pathway to reputed universities offering BBA courses.

32% of students are focused solely on the IPMAT exam. This indicates a dedicated approach towards seeking admission to IIM Indore's five-year integrated programme in management (IPM).

Apart from the CUET and IPMAT exams, a significant number of students are also considering other BBA entrance exams:

17% of students are appearing for IPMAT Rohtak or JIPMAT, expanding their chances of securing admission to IIMs offering the IPM programmes. IIM Rohtak conducts the IPMAT Rohtak exam and IIM Jammu conducts JIPMAT.

8% of candidates have opted for both IPMAT Rohtak and JIPMAT, reinforcing the demand for integrated management courses across multiple IIMs.

9% of students are targeting other BBA entrance exams such as SET, NPAT, MAH BBA CET, UGAT, etc.

What This Means for Aspirants

The poll suggests that most IPMAT Indore aspirants are adopting a multi-exam strategy, ensuring they have alternative options for their BBA and management studies. With increasing competition in IPMAT Indore, candidates are strategically aligning their preparation with multiple entrance tests to maximize their chances of securing a seat in the top BBA colleges.

IPMAT is scheduled to be conducted on May 12, 2025. With less than two months left for the IPMAT Indore exam, aspirants must strategically manage their time and focus on concept clarity, mock tests, and time management for multiple BBA entrance exams.
