The SLAT results for all SLSs are released at the same time. Here, all candidates must be aware that all SLSs simultaneously announce the SLAT exam results for Tests 1 and Test 2. To allow candidates to check SLAT results for all SLS, Symbiosis International University (SIU) publishes them on the website of the Symbiosis Entrance Test, set-test. Org. The results mention details like the names and roll numbers of candidates, as well as the marks and percentages obtained by them. SLAT results for a particular year are only valid for admissions accepted to SLSs in the same academic year.

The SLAT merit list for a particular year is a list containing the name, registration number, and roll number of the candidates who achieved marks equal to or higher than the SLAT cut-off for the SLAT entrance exam conducted in the same year. Yes, there is reservation in SLAT exam as per the rules of Symbiosis International University (SIU). Seats are kept for SC, ST, and differently abled students. In the context of SLAT results, PI refers to Personal Interaction or Personal Interview which is conducted after the Written Ability Test (What) round of the SLAT exam. In PI questions are asked to evaluate the overall personality of candidates and their aspirations as future lawyers. These questions carry a weightage of 30 (equal to 30%). Only those who qualify for the SLAT exam and What are eligible to appear in the SLAT PI. The questions of SLAT PI are of the behavioural category generally and associated with fundamental concepts of law. Whether SLS Pune is better than an NLU really depends on what you want. SLS Pune gives a strong private college aura, with a good campus, nice location, and a good brand name. Many people think it's ahead of some low-tier NLUs (Tier 2 or Tier 3). But the top NLUs like NLSIU Bengaluru or NLU Delhi still lead when it comes to academics, placements, legacy, alumni network, and overall results. So, choosing between SLS Pune and an NLU mostly comes down to your goals and what matters more to you.

There is no maximum time limit to start preparation. Candidates can start preparing for the SLAT exam any time when they decide to sit for it. You can refer to previous year papers for the exam overview.

Candidates can get admission in four SLS located in Noida, Nagpur, Hyderabad and Pune.

Through the Symbiosis Law Admission Test (SLAT) exam, all Symbiosis Law Schools (SLS) together offer around 1,380 seats. Nearly 19,000 students took the SLAT exam last year to get admission to 1,080 available seats. 

A total of 4 colleges, including SLS Nagpur, SLS Noida, SLS Hyderabad, and SLS Pune, accept the SLAT exam. Candidates need to pass the SLAT exam, PI and What to get admission to one of the four colleges that accept SLAT scores. The weightage for SLAT PI and What will be considered for admission to Symbiosis Law College. The weight of the SLAT entrance test will be 50 marks. The weights of PI and What will be 30 marks and 20 marks, respectively.

The number of SLAT practise sets depends on the number of practise sets an aspirant solves. If you want to solve fewer practise sets, then one month is enough to practise them. However, if you want to solve 30–40 practise sets of SLAT, then you need 2-3 months to do so. This much time will allow you to solve one practise set multiple times. As a result, you will learn about almost all the important concepts and topics from which questions are asked in the SLAT exam. Aspirants preparing for the SLAT also need to know the SLAT syllabus and practise topics related to it to score well in the entrance exam.

 

No, SLAT is conducted only one attempt in a year. You can't take the test twice in the same admission cycle. The score from that single attempt is used for admission to all Symbiosis Law Schools. If you want to try again, you can apply next year when the new SLAT exam opens.
