CMI Entrance Exam Application Form 2025 OUT
Chennai Mathematical Institute has started the registration for BSc, MSc Mathematics and Computer Science courses. Candidates who are interested to take admissions in the courses offered can visit the official website, ie., www.cmi.ac.in and fill out the CMI Entrance Exam Application Form 2025. The last day for filling out the registration form will be April 15, 2025. Students with exceptionally good performance in the National Olympiads in Mathematics, Physics and Informatics are exempted from writing the BSc entrance examination.
While filling out the application form candidates need to remember that they need not choose between BSc (Hons) Mathematics and Computer Science and BSc (Hons) Mathematics and Physics at the time of applying. The choice can be made after admission. CMI entrance examinations will be held on Saturday, May 24, 2025 at designated exam centres.

CMI Entrance Exam Eligibility Criteria 2025
Candidates can check the minimal eligibility criteria for all the courses here:
- BSc (Hons.) Mathematics and Computer Science: Class 12 standard or equivalent.
- BSc (Hons.) Mathematics and Physics: Class 12 standard or equivalent.
- MSc in Mathematics: Undergraduate degree (BA, BSc, BE, BTech, etc.) with a strong background in mathematics.
- MSc in Computer Science: Undergraduate degree (BA, BSc, BE, BTech) with a strong background in computer science.
- MSc in Data Science: Undergraduate degree (BA, BSc, BE, BTech,) with a background in mathematics/statistics/computer science.
- PhD in Mathematics: BE/BTech/B.Sc.(Math)/M.Sc.(Math).
