RRB Group D application fee is refunded to candidates after they appear in the CBT exam. Candidates belonging to the reserved categories gets the full return of their application fees. RRB Group D Fee Refund: Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) initiate the RRB Group D fee refund process after candidates appear for the CBT 1 exam. Candidates need to confirm their account to receive the refund of fees. Candidates belonging to SC / ST/ ExSM/ PwBD/ Female/ Minority/EBC/Transgender categories are entitled to get a full refund of their examination fees, which is INR 250. Candidates belonging to the General/EWS/OBC categories receive a partial refund of their examination fees, which is INR 400 after deducting the bank charges. 

RRB Group D fee refund is initiated subject to the verification of candidates’ details as per the records with RRBs. Incorrect/incomplete/ late claims are rejected. No refund is provided to candidates if they fail to submit the bank account details. Only one refund per bank account will be allowed. The link for filling up of bank account details along with OTP (for login) is also shared through SMS and email to the registered mobile numbers and email IDs. What is the Process of RRB Group D Fee Refund?

The process of RRB Group D fee refund is given below:

  • All candidates who have given the confirmation to receive their refund to the account from which they have made the application fee payment, are required to fill the bank details
  • Only those candidates who do not wish to receive the refund in the account through which they paid examination fee should provide the details of Beneficiary Account in which they wish to receive the refund viz. Beneficiary Name, Account Number, Name of Bank, and IFSC Code in the Online Application
  • Those candidates who have deposited their fees through Post Office or SBI Challan must provide the details of Beneficiary Account in which they wish to receive the refund viz. Beneficiary Name, Account Number, Name of Bank, and IFSC Code in the Online Application, otherwise they will not received the refund

How to Fill RRB Group D Application Form 2025?

The steps to fill RRB Group D application form 2025 are given below:

  • Visit the official website
  • Register for the exam
  • In Part I of the application page, enter the details of educational qualification, community, gender, religion, Ex-Servicemen, CCAA, Minority, Economically Backward Class and Age Relaxation and other details
  • In Part II of the application page, candidates need to indicate his/her priority/preference of the posts
  • On completion of application details, candidates are redirected to the payment page using Online Net Banking/Credit Card/Debit Card/UPI and Offline Challan
  • Candidates are required to choose the exam language
  • Candidates need to fill the details of a valid photo ID card
  • Enter bank details to get the refund of fees
  • Candidates need to upload their scanned images of photograph and signature as per the format
  • SC/ST candidates are required to upload the category certificates
  • Candidates need to agree to the terms and conditions and submit the application form
