NEHU Admission 2025 Through CUET PG
Students can get admission to NEHU based on CUET PG scores for the following programmes:
- MBA
- MCA
- MSc
- MA
- MTech
Admission to the postgraduate courses at the NEHU Shillong, is given on the basis of the CUET PG 2025 exam. For admission to NEHU, the merit list shall be prepared based on the following:
The cut-off marks in the qualifying academic result will be as per the department's policy
(ii) CUET total score added with the existing University weightage 9
(iii) Weightages shall be added for a candidate who has applied for multiple categories subject to a maximum of 20%, and applicants are required to submit documents in support of their claims
Around 4 Lacs candidates appeared for CUET PG 2025 examinations to get admissions in the 157 subjects offered in master's degree and professional degree courses. As per the student reactions observed from YouTube and the Shiksha poll survey, this year the CUET PG 2025 exam difficulty level was higher than tha previous year. For admission to the Master of Business Administration (MBA) at NEHU, the candidates must have a valid score of CUET(PG)/MAT(AIMA). The final decision for admission shall be on the basis of (i) CUET(PG) )/MAT(AIMA) score, (ii) group discussion, and (iii) personal interview scores of the candidate as per the weightage given below:
For the aggregate percentage of CUET(PG)/MAT(AIMA) score, the weightage will be 80%, and 10% each for group discussion and personal interview.
The number of candidates to be called for group discussion and personal interview against the seats available in any category may ordinarily not exceed a ratio of 3:1, reads the NEHU prospectus. Admission to various courses including MSc, MA, MBA, MTech etc., will be provided by NEHU considering CUET PG scores.
