CUET PG 2025 Counselling Process: Documents Required

NTA released the CUET PG 2025 results on May 6, 2025 of 157 subjects for which the exam was conducted from March 13, 2025 to April 1, 2025. Post results event, CUET PG 2025 counselling process will commence. NTA is not responsible for holding the counselling process for the PG admissions. Each CUET PG 2025 participating university will start its own counselling process individually. Before stepping into the counselling cycle, candidates must be aware of the documents required for CUET PG 2025 counselling process.

List of Documents Required for CUET PG 2025 Counselling

Here is a complete list of documents that candidates are generally required to produce during CUET PG counselling. Some documents are mandatory across all universities. Others may differ based on university specific guidelines, reservation category, or course.

1. CUET PG 2025 Admit Card

• Issued by NTA.

• Must be downloaded from the official CUET PG website.

• Serves as proof of having appeared for the exam.

2. CUET PG 2025 Scorecard

• Downloaded after CUET PG 2025 results are announced.

• Indicates marks, percentile, and All India Rank (if applicable)

• Required to determine merit and seat allotment.

3. Class 10th Certificate and Marksheet

• Acts as proof of date of birth and basic academic qualification.

• Must match the details entered during CUET PG registration.

4. Class 12th Certificate and Marksheet

• May be required as part of the eligibility check.

• Especially needed if the UG marksheet doesn’t mention school-level qualification details.

5. Undergraduate Degree Certificate / Provisional Certificate

• Confirms successful completion of graduation.

• Final-year candidates may submit a provisional certificate or bonafide certificate from their college.

6. UG Final Year Marksheet / Consolidated Marksheet

• Required to verify minimum eligibility marks (usually 50–55% for UR and 45–50% for reserved categories).

• Some universities require individual semester-wise marksheets too.

7. Transfer Certificate (TC)

• Issued by the college or university last attended.

• Confirms that the student has officially left the previous institution.

8. Migration Certificate

• Required if the student is shifting from one university to another.

• Helps in avoiding dual enrolment.

9. Conduct / Character Certificate

• Issued by the last institution attended.

• Indicates the student's behaviour and discipline.

10. Category Certificate (if applicable)

• For SC/ST/OBC-NCL/EWS candidates.

• Must be issued by a competent authority as per the latest government format.

• OBC-NCL and EWS certificates must typically be issued after April 1, 2025.

11. Disability Certificate (if applicable)

• For candidates applying under the PwD (Persons with Disability) category.

• Issued by a recognized government medical board.

• Must specify the nature and extent of disability (minimum 40% required).

12. Domicile Certificate (if applicable)

• Required by some universities that offer domicile-based reservations or quotas.

• Must be issued by a competent state authority.

13. Income Certificate (if applicable)

• Especially for EWS category or for availing financial aid/scholarship benefits.

• Should be recent and valid.

14. Passport-size Photographs

• Typically 4 to 6 recent photographs required.

• Same as used in the application form for consistency.

15. Identity Proof (Aadhaar Card / Voter ID / PAN Card / Passport)

Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU):

• Two sets of self-attested photocopies of all documents.
