ICAR AIEEA PG examination will be conducted in 122 cities across the country. To enable participation of a large number of candidates seeking admission in Master's degree programmes in AUs in different disciplines of Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Veterinary, Animal Sciences, Agricultural Engineering, Community Science (erstwhile Home Science), Fisheries, Dairy Science and other allied sciences.

Student who belong from general category need to score a minimum of 50 per cent marks and students who belong from the reserved category need to score a minimum of 45 per cent marks in the ICAR Exam to get a seat through ICAR AIEEA Exam. Only the selected candidates will be eligible for the ICAR AIEEA Counselling Process.

Candidates who are declared eligible for registration and choice filling for counselling by ICAR will only be considered for allocation of subject and the Agricultural University. There is no provision for direct nomination for admission through ICAR in any Master's degree programme without qualifying in ICAR AIEEA (PG).

What is the process for subject and university allocation through ICAR AIEEA counselling?

Candidates declared eligible for registration and choice filling for online counselling by ICAR will only be considered for allocation subject and the Agricultural University. The schedule for online counselling is notified separately on the ICAR website, after the declaration of result. The admission and scholarship will be granted only when the candidate wish to get admission through counselling process, which is held by ICAR AIEEA and shall be awarded only after the completion of Online Counseling.
