Best university with good placements and infrastructure.
Placements: This course was introduced last year and 350 students took this course so no idea about the package offered. In other courses, the top recruiting companies are Google, Deloitte, IBM, TCS, Microsoft, etc. The top roles I am expecting in this course are cyber security consultant, ethical hacker, pen tester, and many more.
Infrastructure: Labs, classrooms, and hostels are fully air-conditioned with Wi-Fi and projectors. Hostels have good facilities like each hostel has its own mess and gym facilities are also there. Food quality is above average. Medical facilities are very helpful like ambulance and dispensary. There are first-aid kits in classrooms and labs. Sports facilities are not up to date. No cricket ground is available.
Faculty: Teachers are very approachable and Ph.D. qualified with excellent teaching quality. Scholarships are provided based on CUCET results. Me and my friends got scholarships of 30% on academic fees. To maintain this scholarship you need to pass the semester with the CGPA of 7.5 and 75% attendance.
Other: I chose this course because it's very demanding in the modern era. The best thing about this course is that it helps me to learn about new technologies. The improvements to be made in this course are that the university should add the courses or subjects related to the course.

Dissatisfied with good exposure, but no hands-on training, unnecessary events affect scholarships.
Placements: Around 75-80% of students secure placements, while some chose to pursue higher studies or government jobs. Unfortunately, a few are not allowed to sit for placements and remain unplaced. Salary packages vary, with the highest at 18 LPA, the lowest at 3.5 LPA, and an average of 6-7 LPA. Companies like IBM, Infosys, TCS, Deloitte, and Palo Alto Network hire students, but despite claims, Microsoft, Google, and Amazon do not recruit on campus. Around 85% of students land internships with IBM, Cisco, and KPMG. Common roles include Cybersecurity Analyst, Security Engineer, and Ethical Hacker.
Infrastructure: The course infrastructure is fairly good, with well-equipped labs, spacious classrooms, and access to the library. Wi-Fi facility is available, but the connection can be consistent. The cybersecurity lab provides essential tools for practical learning, though some equipment could use an upgrade. The hostel facilities are decent, offering basic amenities, but maintenance can be slow at times. The mess food is average and could use more variety, while the canteen has better options, though a bit price. The medical facilities are available but limited. Sports facilities exist, but better upkeep is needed. Overall, the infrastructure is functional but has scope for improvement.
Faculty: Some professors are knowledgeable and supportive, but many rely too much on theory or lack a deep understanding of the subject. Complaints usually don’t lead to real action, and strict grading makes it tough to score well. The curriculum is relevant but lacks enough hands-on learning to fully prepare students for industry roles. Exams are mostly theory-based and moderately difficult, but passing isn’t too hard. However, maintaining a high CGPA is challenging since the college removes scholarships for students with a CGPA below 7.5. Frequent events cause distractions during exams, and medical or duty leaves are rarely approved, affecting attendance and scholarships.
Other: I chose this course because of my passion for cybersecurity and its career opportunities. The IBM collaborations and certification add value, but more hands-on training and better faculty support are needed. The campus is lively with frequent events, though they often cause distractions during exams. The student crowd is diverse, but connectivity could be better. Scholarships are available but hard to maintain due to strict CGPA and attendance policies. Extracurricular activities exist but aren’t well-organized. While the course has potential, better practical learning, improved faculty, and a more student-friendly environment would make it much better.
