The Honest review-Chandigarh University (Best Campus Life And Good Placement in 2024).
Placements: The Placement is quite good and upto 70-80 % gets placed. The highest Placement 20L and the average package is around 6-8L. The top recruiting companies are Microsoft, Google, Amazon, IBM etc. Approximately 70-80 % of the student got the internship. The top Role offered in our course are Data Analyst, Data Engineer, Data Scientist.
Infrastructure: The course is well structured and planned and the classroom are well occupied with Wi-Fi, AC, LABS etc. The hostel facility is also good, the food is good and medical facility, sports and gym facility is also included. The hostel rooms are quite big and clean and the infrastructure is high class and the hostel contains many food shops and stuck shops and also contains laundary facility and chair salon also.
Faculty: The teacher are highly qualified of Ph.D. level. The teaching quality is also good. The course curriculum is also relevant and appropriate. Yes it makes industry ready to student. The semester exams are also quite easy and you can pass the exam easily. In between semester there are 2 exam of 20 marks and its quite easy.
Other: I choose this course due to value of this course and it is in most demand and gets internship easily after completing this course. The course is structured and well planned. The event and fest in campus are soo good. The Bollywood celebrity also comes, The techinvent is very big event and very good.

Chandigarh University a better place for engineering .
Placements: Chandigarh University provides a great placement to the students. 60% students gets the placement form the university 10% of the student gets outer campus placement and 30 % are those who want to continue Masters. The highest package of this year was 52 Lacs the lowest was 4 Lacs and average package is 6-7 Lacs Top recruiting companies are TCS, Qualcomm, Microsoft, IBM, Vistara, COGNIZANT, Accenture, Geek For Geek and many more. 70% students gets the internship and rest are those who don't want to do internship and want to do some technical course. Top roles offered in my course is SQL and DSA.
Infrastructure: Facilities and Infrastructure of Chandigarh University is great. Hostels have Wi-Fi, classroom are well maintained and AC ducts are there in the classroom, Labs do have a assistant to resolve any issue occuring in the Computer and Labs also have ACs. Each Academic block have there own Library and Central Libraries of the university are in Block B1 and Block D6. In the Libraries you will find the books you want, novels, autobiography, biography, etc. Libraries are well maintained with discipline. Hostel food is good, 3 times meals are provided and snacks is also there in the evening Medical facilities are also good Dispensaries are there in the university They also give student discount on the medicine. Doctors, nurses, ambulance van Everything is there Sports complex is a great place for a sports person you will get a coach for your game.
Faculty: Teacher and staff of the Chandigarh University mostly have Ph.D. In there regarding field. They are well qualified and very helpful. They clear your doubt anytime you ask them. Curriculum of first year students of engineering is same, in the second year the course curriculum changes regarding to your branch. Hackathons make students industry ready. There are 2 mid semester exam and one end semester exam in a whole semester as the whole semester course is divided in 3 unit. Passing percentage of students is 90% 10% students are those who get detained in the subjects due to attendance and those who leave the exam.
Other: I have chosen B.E in Computer Science Engineering {Hons. }. With Big Data Analytics (IBM) as this course provides alot of exposure to you in the field of Data Analytics and Data Science. Improvement required in this course is SQL in the second semester. Events and fests occurs time to time, they are well managed by the DT team, DACA team and CEC team. Campus is crowded a little you will find a lot of students of different branches. Campus surroundings is great as you will found guards who will help you if there's any problem. Scholarship is provided by the university regarding you 12th percentage or your CUCET exam percentage. Extracurricular activities are also there like NSS and NCC, blood camps, Discipline Team, etc.

All facilities and teaching staff are good.
Placements: The maximum number of students are placed in our college, which is very good. If I talk about the highest package, it is approximately 1.7 crores; it is an international package; if I talk about the lowest package, it is approximately 3 LPAs; top recruiters are Google, Microsoft, etc.
Infrastructure: Yes, infrastructure gives a lot of popularity to Chandigarh University; it is highly integrated and provides a global environment. In Chandigarh University, all labs and hostel facilities are good in all proper ways, the food is all good, and every day new dishes are made in our hostel. The medical facility is all good .
Faculty: Yes, the teaching staff is good in all ways. The teacher staff is very helpful in everything. The semester is moderate, not much harder or easier, and the pass percentage depends on the relatively high marking. At least students have to get 40 percent in each and every subject.
Other: This course provides a better job opportunity.

A university under development.
Placements: The placement companies are average for a private university, with an average package ranging from 3LPA to 6LPA. Higher packages are placed off-campus. The top roles offered are software development engineer (SDE). The highest offered till now (as of May 2024) is 14LPA from PlaySimple Games; the other significant recruiters are FICO and WatchGuard. Till now none such confirmed placements, but the process is going on.
Infrastructure: Hostels are all right for the price offered; the only problem is that for Indian students, the boys hostel is either a 4- or 5-seater, across all years. Rest all facilities, such as the LAN port of each student (you need to buy your own LAN cable). Air conditioning is centralized. Hostels are equipped with gyms (on the house), grocery stores, and barber shops. The hostel campus is peaceful and safe, with lush greenery.
Faculty: For my course (BE CSE with honors in Big Data Analytics), the faculty and curriculum seem new, so they are new and teaching and are unable to teach the concepts properly and excessive examination within a short period, tend to teach in hassle, and sometimes finished topics. Even though they have put great effort into the curriculum, with changing faculty and teachers who are not specialized in their subjects, their execution is poor, resulting in a slight mess.
Other: The university provides a crowded environment. Since the feels are value for money for the quality and the university is providing scholarships to students, a lot of admissions have taken place. There are almost 10K students in the computer science batch in one year alone, and the numbers are increasing day by day. Fests are good at the university, where a lot of local as well as global celebs make a visit.

Our college is good in all aspects.
Placements: If you study well, you can get good placements from any college. Our university provides good placements, even for average students. It is the only private university with good placements. Top recruiting companies are Amazon, Microsoft, IBM, Deloitte, HP, etc. You need to have decent skills in coding and a good CV to get internships.
Infrastructure: Classrooms have every needed instrument like whiteboards and projectors. Labs are well-equipped to work. Girls' and boys' hostels are available in our college. The hostel provides facilities like Wi-Fi, food, an ATM, laundry, a lift facility, housekeeping, a small and good cafe, and a general store. The food served in the mess is good. Mostly students prefer 4 seater rooms and 5 seater rooms. The infrastructure of the hostel is good. The hostel rooms are well-maintained.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is good and efficient. They conduct exams well every month to maintain students' knowledge. The syllabus is very detailed and good. Almost 75% of attendance is very important in our college. Students who did not maintain 75% of attendance cannot attempt exams. So students must be regular in classes.
Other: My personal experience on the campus is very good. If you avail of a scholarship, you need to maintain a 7.5 CGPA every year. Otherwise, you will lose your scholarship. You will have a good experience on campus. Our college organises fests often, and you will enjoy them. Many celebrities visit our college. I would recommend joining this college. Our college offers decent fees with good scholarships.
