Most satisfactory overall student experience .
Placements: Placements were not really what our course ( B.A. Hons. History) was oriented towards. However, with that being said some of the students of our batch did exceedingly well to secure overseas fully paid scholarships. Our batch topper had successfully got his Rhodes Scholarship for the M.A. course at Oxford University. Others who weren't able to get scholarships were able to secure internships at high-end MNCs. I would say about 30-40% of them.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college (St. Stephens) was top-notch. The college was vibrant with gardens and greenery all around including picturesque lawns which were maintained by hard-working gardeners. All of us had access to the college Wi-Fi with all the adequate e-resources. Classrooms were spacious with AC's and fans and overall good ventilation. The library consisting of three stories has all the books required for our exams and more. The hostel is called residence in our college, and it had all the necessities required for the ideal student life. The cafeteria and mess have healthy delicious food of impeccable quality. For Sports and games, we have dedicated towards them tennis court, basketball court, and cricket field.
Faculty: The teachers were well-read and highly erudite. The class lectures were very insightful and interactive. For doubts, tutorial sessions were conducted too. The curriculum is relevant and is being continuously updated every 2-3 years. Semester exams are tough and require consistent effort on the part of the students right from the beginning of the semester itself.
Other: I successfully graduated from St. Stephens (B.A. Hons. History) in 2021. I chose this course because History was one of my favorite subjects in school and Stephens was my dream college to study it from. The best thing about this course is the manner in which it is taught by the teachers. The teaching quality remained consistent throughout the three years and one can honestly learn a lot if studying with due diligence. The main thing that could be improved is the overemphasis on attendance, I feel relaxation should be given as if you don't meet the minimum attendance criteria you're not allowed to sit for the exams. Extracurricular activities are prevalent and can be pursued by the student via joining relevant society as per his/her interests.

It is the best place to study in India.
Placements: It provides some of the best placements in the country. About 50% of our batch students got placed with an average salary package of 10LPA. Some top recruiting companies like Ernst & Young, McKinsey & Company, Zomato, etc., visit our college for placements. Some of the positions offered for students in our course are business analyst, research analyst, etc.
Infrastructure: The college has brilliant facilities for all kinds of activities. Sports facilities are also good. It provides a gym, a rock-climbing wall, well-equipped basketball, and tennis courts. The library is well-equipped and houses many antique books and documents as well. The college cafe and mess also serve good quality.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are well-qualified. Professors are helpful and interactive. The course curriculum of the university is a little outdated and does not equip one for the job market. However, if you want to take up research or academia further, then there is nothing like it. The pass percentage is almost 100% as all students perform well.
Other: Fests are one of a kind. However, outsider entry is not allowed. Fests have a range of activities like prom night, batch events, games, etc. Various festivals are also celebrated with vigor round this year like Onam, Durga Puja, etc.

The amazing faculty with the best overall exposure.
Placements: As history is not a professional course, you should not expect any placement from the college as you need to go for the further studies. However, every college has a placement assistance council that all provide for the internships. However, you can still get a job in some NGO, startup, but that won't relate to your subject.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of Delhi University depends upon the colleges, but overall, the infrastructure is above average depending upon the fees that we pay. There are department trips every year, and some colleges also have the facility of projectors. Almost all the colleges have an auditorium, which is utilised for talks, seminars, and functions.
Faculty: The faculty members are professional and learned, and many have completed their doctorates. They are the best faculty members we have in the country, who has an immense contribution in their respective fields. We study Indian history for all three years, but with that, you also get an exposure to European history, US, USSR, etc.
Other: All the colleges have their fests and fresher parties, which has huge crowd magnets as some of the most popular artists come and grace the occasion. The location, if you are studying in north campus, then you are in the heart of the national capital.

Review of Delhi University.
Placements: During my graduation, the college didn't provide any placements to the students. There is no TPO in college. We are the first graduated students from our college.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility is available in the college. The classrooms are bigger than what we expected, and the sports and games facility is available in the college. Labs are awesome, and every student has an individual system that is provided by the faculty. The hostel is also good, and there are different wings for girls and boys.
Faculty: Faculty are good, but some of the staff members are so lazy and don't take the classes regularly, but all over the faculty and the staff members are good. The course curriculum is also good, and it will help you in future. The course subjects are very interesting and super cool.

Candidates wanting to pursue BTech from DU must meet the prescribed eligibility and selection requirements. The university accept valid scores of JEE Main and CUET for selection purposes. AskShikshaGPT on App
Q:   How hard is it to get admission in Delhi University for an average student?
    ShikshaGPT says
    A:

The admission process for Delhi University (DU) is extremely competitive, especially for the well known and popular courses and colleges. However, the difficulty level of admission varies depending on the programme a student wishes to get into. Some of the key parameters that define how difficult can be for a student to get into a good DU college with good course:

    • Scores in CUET/ Class 12
    • Category
    • Selection of College + Course combination in the CSAS registration process

Up until 2021, only top scorers of Class 12 were able to get into Hindu, Hansraj, Miranada, SRCC, LSR and other reputed colleges for top courses such as BA (Hons) in Economics/ English/ Political Science, BSc (Hons) Physics/ Chemistry/ Mathematics and BCom (Hons) courses. However, the introduction of CUET has changed the game. Now, even if a student could not do well in Class 12 has a chance of getting into the cream colleges with a good score in CUET.

However, if the dream is just to study in a reputed DU college, there is a basic hack that can be followed by anyone and everyone. All the top colleges of DU offer short-duration certificate courses in Languages and other interest areas. Those who are not able to get into DU can witness the buzz of being a DU student by pursuing these courses. For details on the same, students are advised to visit the official website of the DU affiliated colleges.

    ShikshaGPT says
    A:

No, Delhi University offers admission to the BSc programmes at its colleges based on CUET score only. There is no provision for direct admissions. Hence, aspirants must take the Common University Entrance Test (CUET). The national-level exam is conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA). It is conducted in different phases. Eligible students can apply on NTA website to take the test. Students seeking admission to DU colleges should select DU college plus preferred course at the time of registration.

After CUET result declaration, aspirants are required to register on DU CSAS portal. The course and college allotment process is done based on the preferences submitted by the students during the form filling. After final selections, students can pay the admission fee to confirm admission.
