If you want to secure a good placement, I would consider DTU as it is one of the tier 1 colleges.

Placements: DTU placement is not that good like IITs for the highest packages, but it’s still good. DTU is not able to provide above 1 CPA, but the average and median packages are still good. Out of 10 students, 6 or 7 take above 20 LPA, it also depends upon the branch.

Infrastructure: I’m not a hosteler, but what I have listened, 1st-year hostels are so good. Can’t say the same for hostel mess, but for freedom, 1st-year hostels are good. You can go outside college up to 10–11 pm and still enter at 3–4 am. Even if you are not able to get a hostel, you can take a PG too.

Faculty: The course instructors are so good. You just have to take mid exams seriously, if you score well in mid semester, you can surely take 8 CGPA easily. The resources are also provided by teachers and seniors. All you have to do is just previous year questions.

Other: From freshers to year-end, there are lots of mini events going on. Not only mini events, the main events are also so good. Both academic and sports fests are also there.

Very nice placements and good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: DTU has mostly all the top companies out there in my domain, Google, Adobe, Microsoft, Apple, etc. Many roles offered are Software Engineer, Quant Engineer, and Back end Engineer. The placement percentage in my college is also great. The placement percentage is around 80 percent for the general students.

Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure of the college are on par with all the good universities out there. The food is also very tasty in the mess and the canteen. There are good sports teams out there. Computer labs, on the other hand are not as good because most of the computers there do not work. The Wi-Fi signal is also very low.

Faculty: Teachers are really helpful and they are always available to work after the classes as well. The curriculum for our course is also up to date. It really helps with the placements. Further, the semester exams in my college are really well conducted and the pass percentage is 70 percent.

Absolutely satisfied with this college because of the good placements of DTU in 2025.

Placements: There are a total of 375 students in CSE, and there are 6 sections of CSE, of which 80 students are present in my section. Nearby, 15 percent of students got placed from my course. The lowest package 2025 is 3 LPA-4 LPA, the average package is 18 LPA-25 LPA, and the highest package is 64 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Amazon, Flipkart, Microsoft, Uber, Ola, etc. Actually, I am in my first year, so generally companies don't trust first-year students. In my class, there is no student who has yet got any internship. I don't know much about top roles as I have completed my first semester.

Infrastructure: Facilities are quite good in DTU, like the sports complex area, which is well developed, and the presence of a gym. If I talk about Wi-Fi, then I will say that Wi-Fi is present in every class, and class Wi-Fi works super fast, but library Wi-Fi is not that fast and sometimes stops and lags. Hostels are good, but I don't think it matters much because it's all about living. Rooms are not bigger in size. Medical facilities are very poor. My friend got severely ill but was not taken seriously by the medical staff.

Faculty: Teachers are not very helpful because whatever they teach goes out of the mind. All we have to do is self-study. Teachers of DTU are quite calm, and they listen to the problems of students. Semester exams are not very difficult, but with the right approach and strategy, it is easy to score more than 9 GPA.

Other: The reason to choose this course is that it is the best investment in life. In fees of 10 lacs of B.Tech, students can get a good average package with the right approach of DSA, Java, C, C++, Python, etc. The things that I wish to improve about the course are that I would like teachers to teach a topic by giving examples of real-life problems, and I think that it is lagging. The first year fest has not been held yet, and my semester 1 is over. The campus crowd is quite large, and connectivity with seniors becomes easy due to the large crowd.

In short words, my college is the best for teaching students.

Placements: The placement percentage is almost 100 percent in the CSE department in 2024. The highest placement is 85.30 LPA, and the lowest is 15.45 LPA. Microsoft, Google, Adobe, Amazon, etc. are the top recruiting companies in DTU placements. Top roles offered are software developer, backend engineer, data engineer, etc.

Infrastructure: The library of DTU is the second-largest library in Delhi, full of knowledge. The labs also fulfil the requirements of students, and the Wi-Fi connection is decent on campus. Hostel rooms are decent but average, and my hostel name is Aaryabhatta Boys' Hostel. The food quality is also decent, not very good, but not bad. Medical facilities are also decent in terms of basic diseases, but not very high-end facilities. DTU has a very big sports complex with cricket nets, a basketball court, and a badminton court, as well as a huge indoor hall for board games.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and have good qualifications. They have a large knowledge of my course. This course curriculum is very relevant and very helpful for students and the industry in the future. Semester exams are moderate to difficult in DTU and challenging for students.

Other: I had an interest in programming, game development and other things, so I chose CSE at DTU. They can improve hostel and mess quality. DTU is full of events and fests, and DTU gives you a lot of opportunities to apply for scholarships.

Satisfied and happy with the college. Really like this place.

Placements: About 50 percent of students got placed this year in CSE. The highest package is about 100 LPA, maybe. The lowest is around 6 LPA, and the average is around 16-20 LPA. Google recruits a lot from DTU. About 30-40 percent of students get internships. Most students get programming jobs.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is good enough. Sometimes, dogs walk in classes. Labs are also fine. The library is really nice. Food is spoiled sometimes, but that happens rarely. Mess hygiene is alright. Medical facilities are available, but medicine is almost never available. There are enough fests for sports.

Faculty: The teachers are mostly really good. The course curriculum is also relevant, and it prepares students well for the industry. The exams are not too hard, and one can at least pass them if they try a little bit. The pass percentage is around 30 percent, I guess.

Other: I like coding. I also had a deep interest in mathematics since I was a kid, and even engineering graphics is fun. I would say the 75 percent attendance criteria could be a bit relaxed. I have no complaints about the fests or the extracurricular activities.

No, you cannot get admission to DTU with under 1 Lakh rank. B.Tech CSE closing rank was 12948 for general and 49995 for the OBC category. A total of 480 seats are available for B.Tech in CSE.

The fee is INR 6 Lakhs for the entire course.

If you are from general category, then there is low chance that you get a decent btech stream but you will not get CSE, IT or mechanical branch
