IPU BTech Eligibility & Highlights 2025
IP University or IPU BTech is a four-year course divided into eight semesters. The UG-level course is offered across different specialisations, including CSE, AI Machine Learning, etc. It is offered by the IP University and its affiliated colleges. Admission to the programme is based on JEE Main Paper 1 score for all specialisations except Biotechnology. For Biotechnology, a candidate has to appear for IPU CET or CUET.

IPU BTech (Lateral) Admission 2025
Eligibility Criteria: Class 12 from CBSE with Science (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics) or equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 50% provided that the candidate has passed each subject separately, and English (core or elective or functional) should be a mandatory subject.

NTA announced JEE Main 2024 dates. NTA coducted the JEE Main 2024 exam in two sessions. JEE Main 2024 exam date session 1 was January 24 to February 1 while the second session was held from April 4 to 15. Candidates can check JEE Main 2024 exam date session 1 and 2 on this page. JEE Main 2024 application form session 1 was available from November 1 to December 4. For session 2, NTA released application form on February 2.
The IPU CET exam dates are announced by the exam conducting authority. The CET exam will be conducted for various courses from April 2026 to May 2026.
To get admission for BTech Lateral Entry at IP University candidates must appear for IPU CET. Lateral entry to BTech course is permitted for candidates with a Diploma or BSc Degree. For Diploma holders the IPU CET exam code is 128. For BSc Degree holders the IPU CET exam code is 129. The candidates should check the syllabus for the exam and prepare accordingly.
