Maybe, this is one of the best colleges in Delhi.
Placements: The placement rate of the college is good. The overall package offered is going around Rs. 9 LPA with the average package offered moving to Rs. 5 LPA to Rs. 5.5 LPA. Nearly, 90% students got placed, and the situation is expected to be better in the next year. The roles offered are mainly for the technical assistance with the industry exposure focusing on PSUs and government jobs.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good with all the modern technology present within reach of the student. The library is open for about 18 hours per day, and the classrooms are equipped with an AC and a free Wi-Fi facility. The hostel rooms are furnished with a central hall boasting with TVs and all types of indoor facilities.
Faculty: The faculty is good with sound knowledge and has a great power to instigate in a student, the urge to move forward. The teaching methods used by them include the usual blackboards, and some online facilities are available as well. A student can contact the faculty at their time of convenience.

Good campus in the heart of Delhi with good placements
Placements: Placements are up to the mark and different companies visited our campus for recruitment. The highest package was 7.2 LPA and the lowest package was 2.8 LPA. Companies that regularly visit our campus are Mahindra, Ashok Leyland and Apollo Tyres. All the students get internships in private industries at decent stipends.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our campus is decent and well-maintained by authorities. All classrooms and labs are big, well-ventilated and equipped with modern equipment. The library is vast and comprises 20000+ books of all the genre and academic fields. There are dedicated courts for sports like badminton, tennis and basketball.
Faculty: All the teachers and professors are well-versed in their respective field of studies. They give equal attention to all the students and clear every misconception of students. The course curriculum is very diverse and incorporates subjects of different fields of mechanical engineering. Teaching methods involve using the whiteboard and the projector for practical aspect of studies.
Other: Students are given mentorship lectures from future technocrats. There are different clubs for students of different interests like the dramatics club, the photography club and the sports club. Students are taken to industrial visits in private as well as public sector industries from time to time.

Absolutely dissatisfied with the placements. Average faculty and infrastructure.
Placements: Placements from our college i.e. (Mahavir Swami Institute of Technology, Sonipat ) was quite less for MAE branch as compared to other branches.
30- 40% placement of the students, overall.
The average salary was 3.5- 4 LPA.
Mostly, IT companies visited.
No internships from the college as I am aware of.
Infrastructure: The facilities were good, good infrastructure, nice food in the canteen, etc.
The distance was a factor though as the college was far away from the city.
Adequate medical facilities.
The hostel facilities were average.
But as long as there is no placement, these things doesn't even matter.
Faculty: The faculty was qualified, helpful and knowledgeable.
The student to faculty ratio was around 40:1.
For industry exposure, training was scheduled in the 8th semester, so it wasn't very helpful.
An industry-oriented curriculum should be introduced other than tradition which is being continued for years.

A great place to be a part of.
Placements: Almost 95% of students have been placed in the last few years and also the package was around 8,00,000 per annum. Seniors and placement mentors are always there for guidance in case of any difficulty faced. Overall it provides a very competitive and great environment.
Infrastructure: The facilities are really good, everything from labs to classes is very well organized. Every professor is very cooperative regardless of their temperament. Wi-Fi facilities are available for free. Great hostel environment and very good living ambience in the hostel rooms.
Faculty: The teachers, professors, lab staff members everyone is very helpful and carry a great persona. They have good knowledge about their concerned subjects and also provide a lot of real-world applications of what the students have been studying and how it can be useful.

Yes, there is lateral entry available in GGSIPU. Speaking for B.Tech, diploma or B.Sc holders take direct entry in second year. Entrance test is conducted for admission.
