Candidates who secure the qualifying marks and make the merit list will have to appear for the counselling session. Students who qualify, will have to appear in person to book the seat in the course opted for at the Punjab University of Agriculture. Students will have to appear the counselling procedure, submit all the documents and pay the fees. Students have to appear for the counselling session in person at the given schedule, date and time. If a candidate fails to do so, they might miss out on the chance of booking their seat.

Things to Remember
- Information about the mode and schedule of counselling will be put up at the PAU website along with the entrance test results.
- No separate intimation will be given to the candidate regarding the counselling. The University will not be responsible for any loss of opportunity for admission to the candidate by not participating in the counselling.
- For Master’s and PhD programmes, only the candidate, who obtain 20% marks in the entrance test, will be eligible for counselling. Further, Ph.D, candidates are also required to obtain 20% marks in MCQ & Subjective test, individually, for becoming eligible for counselling/interview.
- At the time of Counselling/document verification the candidate is required to deposit the full fee in cash to confirm the seat. Failing to deposit the full fee the allotment will be cancelled and the seat will be declared vacant.
