Vibrant college life at SRM.
Placements: 90 percent of the students got placed from the Computer Science course, where the top recruiting companies are Amazon, TCS, and Wipro. The top roles offered are full-stack development and software engineering. The highest annual package is 50 LPA, and the average is 5 LPA- 8 LPA, where the lowest can range from 3 LPA- 4 LPA. For an internship, many top companies come like Well and Fargo, Citibank, Natwest, and Fidelity.
Infrastructure: In terms of infrastructure and facilities, it is very good. It has high-tech labs and a good Wi-Fi connection. It has a huge central library containing all kinds of books where students can go to study and read in their free time. The classrooms are equipped with CCTV, smart boards, and projectors, and all are in very good condition. The hostel rooms are very good, with nice furniture. The food is fine and has a variety, plus there are lots of canteen cafes plus the sports facilities are good too.
Faculty: The faculty members are highly experienced and knowledgeable in their respective fields, and they are all very helpful. The course curriculum is relevant to modern technologies, and it makes the students industry-ready. The semester exams are moderate, and all questions are from the given course material only. The pass percentage is 99 percent.
Other: It is very costly, but the campus life is very vibrant. There are two major fests happening in a year, and lots of cultural events and road shows. Extracurricular activities are encouraged through various clubs, and students can join them according to their interests. The campus is very crowded, and it has a nice connection with the main city. Scholarships are given according to rank, merit, etc.

It’s good, but it feels boring sometimes.
Placements: They have top companies. 80% of students are placed. The lowest is about 3 LPA, and the highest is 35 LPA. Placement training is very good. But many students choose higher studies, and many opt for an MBA depending on their career goals. Compared to last year, this year is better.
Infrastructure: It has good lab facilities and solid infrastructure. Canteens are available everywhere, but they have computer science labs in most of the buildings. However, the Wi-Fi is very bad. There are certain criteria that students must follow. Overall, it's excellent.
Faculty: Exams are easy if you follow the previous year's question papers. Faculty members are good. They follow the 21 regulations. It is also good. Most faculty members are Ph.D. graduates. The pass percentage is 50%. It makes students industry-ready. Internal marks are really important for students.
Other: They conduct many hackathons, which are really fun events.

Good placements, solid infrastructure, supportive faculty, and a relevant BCA data science course.
Placements: I am currently in SRM IST doing BCA Data Science. Around 80 percent of students in my batch get placed. The highest package is about 8 LPA, the lowest is 3 LPA, and the average is around 4.5 LPA. Top recruiters include Infosys, TCS, Cognizant, Capgemini, and Wipro. About 70 percent of students got internships in companies like Zoho, Virtusa, and HCL. Common roles offered are junior software developer, data analyst, and data support roles. It's a good platform for learning and placements if you are proactive and work on projects and skills.
Infrastructure: SRM IST has good infrastructure for BCA Data Science. Classrooms are spacious and well-ventilated, labs are equipped with modern computers and software, and Wi-Fi is reliable across campus. The library has a decent collection of books and digital resources. Hostels are clean with basic amenities, and the mess food is average but edible while the canteen offers a variety of snacks. Medical facilities are available on campus, and sports and games facilities like basketball, cricket, and indoor games are decent giving students a good balance of academics and extracurricular activities. SRM has good infrastructure, labs, and faculty.
Faculty: Teachers at SRM IST are generally helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Most are approachable and clarify doubts effectively. The teaching quality is decent though learning depends a lot on the student's effort. The BCA Data Science curriculum is relevant covering programming, data analytics, and the basics of machine learning which helps students gain foundational skills for the industry. Semester exams are moderately challenging, testing both practical and theoretical knowledge. Pass percentages are usually high. Around 85-90 percent but scoring well requires consistent study and attention to assignments and projects.
Other: I am in the BCA Data Science course at SRM IST. I chose this course because I love programming and data analytics, and wanted a career in IT and Data Science. The best things about the course are the practical labs, relevant curriculum, and exposure to coding and analytics projects. I wish there were more industry-oriented workshops and advanced machine learning sessions. The campus has a lively crowd, good connectivity, green surroundings and hosts events and fests regularly. Scholarships and extracurricular activities are available making it a balanced place for learning and overall growth.

Placements: Recently, the highest package is 65 LPA, and the average is 6 LPA. Top companies are Amazon, Microsoft, PayPal, Deloitte, and many. 60 to 70 percent of students get placed in companies like Amazon, PayPal, Dell, and TCS. The roles are Full Stack development, Data analyst, and Cloud engineering.
Infrastructure: CSE has high-speed Wi-Fi and multiple modern computer labs. Smart AC classrooms and a well-equipped, big library and digital courses like IEEE, Springer, NPTEL. Hostels are clean with Wi-Fi, AC and non-AC options, laundry and good security. Mess food is average, and there is an excellent medical facility 24/7.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is good. Most faculty help with lab doubts and projects. Curriculum is updated and industry-relevant. Includes DSA, DSBS, OS, etc. Exams are moderately difficult. The pass percentage is very high.
Other: I chose it because I am interested in computers and coding. It offers a strong career option. I wish the course had even more specific sessions and updated more industry tools. The campus has big fests like Aarush and Milan. A diverse crowd and good connectivity.

Placements: 88.5% of students got placed from my course. The highest package is 52 LPA, and the lowest package is 3 LPA. Companies recruited are TCS, Cognizant, Infosys, and many more. Internship percentage is around 80% in companies like Dr. Reddy's, Avigen, and Manna Biotech. Research scientist, biomedical engineer, bioinformatics analyst, bioprocess engineer, and quality control officer are roles offered.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available 24X7. The classrooms and labs have very good infrastructure. College has a very big library, which is a real value for money. The facilities in the hostel are a bit for me, but the food is very good. Medical and sports facilities are great.
Faculty: The quality of the teachers is very good. Faculty members are very knowledgeable, kind, and helpful all the time. The course curriculum makes the student industry-ready, and it's relevant too. Semester exams are a bit difficult, and the pass percentage is around 60%.
Other: Events, fest, campus crowd, connectivity, campus surroundings, scholarship, extracurricular activities, etc., are conducted. They are very good at SRM.

It is a good college for BDS and a hospital.
Placements: For a dental college, there are zero placements, but the engineering campus has abundant placements, so the question is not valid for a dental college. The internship is a mandatory procedure to do a compulsory rotation internship within the college after 4 years of study to obtain your degree Certificate. You have the option of doing your internship at any other college (dental) by breaking the bond with the college after payment, and after the internship completion, you can obtain your degree certificate.
Infrastructure: The surroundings of the college are pretty great, it has everything in its locality. There is a gym, restaurant, hotels, turf, Game Centre, cafes and a lot of exploring options around the college. I stayed in the hostel for 3 years. They only have a very limited number of AC rooms. And you cannot get a single room. The food quality is terrible. There are many departments like the pharmacology department, pathology department, biochemistry department, microbiology depth, moral pathology department, Endodontics depth, prosthodontics department, orthodontics department.
Faculty: It's a good course only, they provide lots of research projects for the development of the students, and they also give quality teaching. This course is perfect for people who pursue a medical. Speaking of staff, most of them are good, and some of them are very bad. They do help the students to do better, but some of them are targeting us and internationally failing the students. There will be 6 internal assessments in a year (except final year, which is split into 2 semesters.
