The deemed-to-be university accepts GATE score for M.Tech admission. However, aspirants who have not qualified GATE can also get admission to M.Tech course by qualifying SRMJEEE (PG) conducted by the university. SRM will conduct SRMJEEE in two phases. After the completion of the selection rounds, aspirants need to attend the counselling and document verification round. Only after the payment of course fee, admission is confirmed in the university.

As per the eligibility criteria, aspirants must pass bachelor's degree in relevant subjects with at least 50% aggregate to apply for the M.Tech course. The university considers the eligibility and GATE score for providing admission.

SRM University conducts SRM JEE exam for admission to Engineering courses. The university does not accept scores for any other entrance exams. Also, direct admission is not valid either. Accordingly, candidates are chosen primarily on the basis of their academic standing, particularly as it relates to their results on the qualifying exam (10+2 for undergraduate programs and graduation for postgraduate programs). On the other hand, entrance requirements apply to the B.Sc. in Hospitality and Hotel Administration specialization. In order to be considered for admission, students must take the National Council of Hotel Management and Catering Technology Joint Entrance Examination (NCHMCT JEE) and receive a valid score.

No, you are unable to enroll directly in the SRM Institute of Hotel Management (SRM IHM). Merit and scores on the qualifying exam determine admission to SRM IHM. Candidates must have received at least 50% of the total marks in their 10+2 exam, which was approved by the State or Central Education Board.

Using the SRM IHM website, and submitting an online application is the first step. You will need to fill out an application form with your personal information, academic records, and a scanned copy of your signature and photo. You will need to pay the application fee after completing the application form. You can pay the application fee online with a debit card, credit card, or net banking. You can download your admit card from the SRM IHM website once the payment has been made.

Important details like your exam center, exam time, and exam date will be on your admit card. Bring your admit card and a legitimate photo ID to the exam center on the day of the entrance exam. Multiple-choice questions from the 10+2 exam syllabus will be your entrance exam. A personal interview invitation will be extended to the shortlisted candidates. The university fee structure is cumulative of several components, such as caution deposit, tuition fee, hostel fee, and more. A few of these components are one-time payable, while some have are charged annually/semesterly. SRM IST Chennai MBA tuition fee ranges between INR 1.9 Lacs and INR 11.5 lakh. Moreover, the one-time fee range between INR 1,200 and INR 11,000 and the hostel charges range between INR 1.45 Lacs and INR 3.3 lakh.
