The ULSAT Exam Date 2026 was conducted successfully on the scheduled dates. The candidate had to choose the exam day and the slot at which he/she wanted to appear for the LLB exam. UPES conducts the LLB entrance exam on multiple dates and shifts, depending on availability. The ULSAT exam was organised in computer-based mode. Q:   Can I take admission in NLU through ULSAT Score?
A: 

No, you cannot get into a National Law University (NLU) with a ULSAT score. NLU admissions for the 25 participating NLUs is done through the CLAT (Common Law Admission Test). For NLU Delhi the AILET is conducted. ULSAT is for UPES, not NLUs, so you need CLAT or AILET scores.

Q:   ULSAT 2026 Result will be released online or offline?

ULSAT Exam Result will be published online. Since the whole admission process is completely online nothing will be published offline. Candidates must not trust anything published offline. 

Q:   ULSAT Admission is done for how many seats?
A: 

ULSAT (University of Petroleum & Energy Studies Law School Admission Test) admits students to various UG/PG law programs with a combined seat intake of around 560-590 seats, varying slightly yearly, for courses like B.A. LL.B., B.B.A. LL.B., B.Com. LL.B., B.Tech. LL.B., and LL.M., with specific seats allocated per programme (e.g., B.A. LL.B. often has the highest, around 240). Admissions use ULSAT scores, Board Merit and CLAT.

Students who wish to get admission at UPES can apply for ULSAT 2026 for 5-year integrated BA LLB, BBA LLB, and 3-year LLB courses through the official website upes.ac.in. As per the ULSAT Exam Schedule 2026, the application form can be filled till January 20, 2026. ULSAT 2026 Admit Card Dates

UPES releases the ULSAT 2026 Admit Card for all the applicants on the day of the ULSAT exam. Candidates who register for the exam will be able to download their ULSAT 2026 admit card using their Application Number and ID. The ULSAT hall ticket will not be emailed to the aspirants. It will not be sent by the post.

Q:   Which books should I refer to get the best results in ULSAT? Which are the most important topics to focus?

UPES Law Studies Aptitude Test is the entrance exam for Law Degree Courses. The exam is not very different from CLAT. The subjects that are tested in CLAT are also tested here. These subjects are five in number: English including comprehension, General Knowledge, Maths, Legal Aptitude and Logical Reasoning. The preparation for the exam should start with going through past year papers to identify what topics are relevant and what areas to focus upon. Now coming to books, for English, you can use any book which covers comprehensively all the topics. Focus should be on comprehension part. For GK, you can use Pearson or Lucent. For current affairs, you can refer to monthly magazines. For Mathematics, you can use Quantitative Aptitude by RS Agarwal. the basic topics like percentages, average, profit and loss are essential. For Legal, there is no specific book but going through past year papers of ULSAT and other exams would help. For Logical, you can again use books by RS Aggarwal.

Q:   What would be done for ULSAT online(CBT) if we miss pen paper test? How will we get admit card for online CBT?

After registering yourself for ULSAT, you must have been provided with the login details. You simply have to login and get the admit card; rest everything will be mentioned in that itself, or else you can get UPES without appearing for ULSAT, either through class 12 board merit or CLAT merit scores if found eligible by the university.
