English (Honours)

English (honours) is one of the most sought-after courses at Delhi University. An interest in writing and reading literature can definitely make this course a fit for you. Eligibility and Selection Criterion

Admissions to UG and PG courses in 2023 will be based on the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) scores.

CUET UG 2023 exam dates have been announced by NTA. The CUET UG 2023 exam will be conducted between May 21 and May 31, 2023.

Is a Bachelor's or master's degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate, 45% aggregate for CW/ OBC/ PwBD category candidates, and 40% for SC category candidates. Candidates appearing in the qualifying degree exams are also eligible to appear in the LL.B. Entrance exam.

B.Com honours is also a very popular course at DU. A huge number of students apply for this course. Q:   Does DU offer PG programmes?
A:
DU University offers over 500 programs approved by various academic and executive councils, of which 209 have been considered for NAAC accreditation. DU also offers various PG courses to students, such as M.Com M.A. And M.Sc. Among others. Students can take admission to any PG course by appearing for CUET-PG Entrance Exam. From this year on, students will have to register for CUET-PG first and apply for CSAS counseling later for the final admission round after that. DU has changed the admission process for the academic year 2023-24.

The admission process for MCA in DU -

Appear in the national entrance exam — CUET‑PG

As of recent years, DU PG admissions (including MCA) follow CUET‑PG. 
2. Register / fill DU's PG admission formAfter CUET‑PG results, apply using DU's PG admission portal; you'll need to choose MCA in application.
3. Shortlisting — based on CUET‑PG score & eligibilityAdmissions are based on merit: your CUET‑PG score + matching eligibility (math background + bachelor's degree + minimum marks).
4. Seat allotment / counselling / admission listDU publishes seat-allotment / merit-lists; if you get selected, you must accept the seat as per instructions. 
5. Document verification & fee paymentYou will need to submit original degree / mark‑sheets / math‑subject proof etc., and pay fees to confirm admission.
