B.Arch Admission 2026: Registration, Qualification, Selection Process

Designing and planning building or other physical structures is the main duty of an architecture. BArch admission is based on both the entrance and Class 12 scores. Candidates who are interested in planning and building or other physical structure. Candidates should pass Class 12 with 50% to be eligbile. Exams are NATA, JEE Main Paper 2, etc. Popular colleges are JMI, IIT Roorkee, etc. The fee can range around approx. INR 2 Lakh to INR 5 Lakh.

B.Arch Eligibility

Syllabus Details

NATA Syllabus

The syllabus for NATA consists of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Logical Reasoning, Aesthetic Sensitivity, Colour Theory, Language and Interpretation, Visual Perception and Cognition, Lateral Thinking and Logical Reasoning, General Knowledge and Current Affairs, Graphics and Imagery. 

JEE Main Syllabus

JEE Main Syllabus includes three subjects- Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Physics consists of theory as well as practical components. Chemistry consists of Physical Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry and Organic Chemistry. Mathematics consists of topics from Class 11th and 12th.

AAT Syllabus

After clearing JEE Advanced, candidates must prepare for various other topics to clear AAT such as Freehand drawing, Geometrical drawing, Three-dimensional perception, Imagination and Aesthetic Sensitivity, and Architectural Awareness.
