A. AAT or Architecture Aptitude Test is an entrance test conducted especially for candidates who wish to pursue B.Arch programmes across three popular IITs, namely IIT Kharagpur, IIT Roorkee and IIT BHU. The eligibility requirements for this entrance examination are as follows:

• Candidates must have passed for Class 12th examination from a recognised board.
• They must have appeared for JEE Main examination and scored rank in top 2,50,000 in order to be eligible for JEE Advanced examination.
• Candidates who clear JEE Advanced Examination are eligible for AAT which is a separate examination testing drawing and designing skills for architecture aspirants. 
• This examination consists of sections such as Freehand Drawing, Geometrical Drawing, Three Dimensional Perception, Imagination and Aesthetic Sensitivity, Architectural Awareness.

A. To pursue B.Arch from any reputed architecture college, candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria which are as follows:

• Candidates must have passed the Class 12 exam from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as core subjects.
• Candidates should have scored minimum 75% in final examination of Class 12th in order to be eligible to secure admission in any college as well as appear for top entrance examinations.
• Many entrance examinations such as JEE Main and JEE Advanced also have the requirement of minimum 75% marks in Class 12th results. Qualifying both the exams will render them the eligibility to appear for AAT.

A. Bachelor of Designing and Bachelor of Architecture are both undergraduate courses that may sound similar to the candidates but there are wide range of differences between both the courses. 

A. National Aptitude Test in Architecture popularly called as NATA is a national-level entrance examination conducted for admissions to B.Arch programme across top architecture colleges. This entrance is conducted by Council of Architecture (CoA) in three phases and is a computer-based test. Candidates have the option to either give one or two or three attempts. The total number of questions are 125 and the exam is conducted across 136 cities in India. NATA doesn't conduct their own counselling and candidates have to appear to their desired colleges for admission on the basis of the score and rank in NATA.

A. To clear AAT or any other B.Arch entrance examination, candidates must be well-trained and proficient in designing and drawing skills. They must have knowledge on freehand drawing which consists of simple drawing of domestic objects. They must also know about Geometrical Drawing which consists of drawing geometrical figures and have a knowledge on plan and elevation. They must also be well-versed with perceiving three-dimensional objects and its visualisation and possess architectural awareness.

A. JEE Main Paper 2 is conducted for admissions to B.Arch/B.Planning courses at NITs, and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions. JEE Mains paper 2 is based on both drawing and maths skills, it has a math section (level is same as the Jee Mains paper 1) and a sketching and 3D interpretation section. The rank you obtain in paper 2 is independent of the paper 1 rank. NATA is a compulsory Exam conducted by the Council of Architecture and most of the institutes /colleges accept only NATA scores. NATA is a test that only tests drawing and 3D interpretation skills and even students from humanities or commerce backgrounds can answer the exam. The exam does not test mathematics or science knowledge. The exam is conducted by the Architecture's Association and it helps you secure admission recognized by them and you need to apply to different institutes independently with the NATA scores. A. No, getting Class 12 answer sheets re-checked does not affect B.Arch Admission process. However, after receiving the final marks, the candidate has to satisfy the eligibility criteria. The candidate is also expected to submit the 12th class mark sheet after rechecking before the merit list is announced.
