AP EAMCET 2026 Registration is open till April 10, 2026, with late fees. The application form can be submitted with a late fee of INR 2000 till April 1, 2026. What is AP EAPCET (AP EAMCET)?

AP EAMCET (Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test) is renamed AP EAPCET, which stands for Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture and Pharmacy Common Entrance Test. AP EAMCET is entrance examination conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Kakinada, for Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) for admission into various professional courses offered in University/ Private Colleges in Andhra Pradesh. AP EAMCET exam is conducted for admission into undergraduate programmes in engineering, pharmacy and agriculture across different colleges and universities in Andhra Pradesh. AP EAMCET exam is conducted once a year.

Eligibility Criteria for AP EAPCET Entrance Exam

AP EAMCET 2026 eligibility criteria are the conditions set by JNTU Kakinada on behalf of APSCHE for candidates seeking admission to engineering, pharmacy and agriculture courses. To be eligible, candidates need to fulfil the requirements given below:

General Eligibility Criteria for AP EAPCET (AP EAMCET) 2026

Candidates should be Indian Nationals or Persons of Indian Origin (PIO)/ Overseas Citizens of India (OCI).

Candidates must be Andhra Pradesh/Telangana state residents and should meet the local/non-local status requirements by Educational Institutes in Andhra Pradesh under admission regulations.

Academic Eligibility Criteria AP EAPCET (AP EAMCET) 2026

Candidates should have passed or appeared in the qualifying examination of intermediate or 10+2 level or any equivalent examination as recognised by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana.

Candidates must have passed the qualifying examination and must have taken the following subjects in the 10+2 level i.e. Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry or any of the optional subjects or relevant vocational subjects in the Engineering and Technology stream.

AP EAMCET 2026 Application Form Correction Window

The facility of AP EAMCET form correction will be available from March 26 to 28, 2026. The details on the application form are divided into two categories. The details in Category -1 can be changed only by sending an email to helpdesk. The candidate can change details in Category -2 during the correction window.

AP EAMCET Exam Day Instructions

  • Candidates are advised to reach the AP EAMCET test centre at least two hours before the scheduled timings.

  • No candidate is allowed into the exam centre once the exam has begun, even if they’re late by one minute. Therefore, they must reach the AP EAMCET exam centre on time
  • Candidates must carry AP EAMCET Hall ticket & and the filled-in Application form to the exam centres for verification

  • Candidates belonging to SC, ST categories should carry a copy of their caste certificate along with AP EAMCET admit card and application form for verification at the exam centre

  • Candidates should not carry any prohibited items such as notes, study material, stationery, mobile phones, calculators, watches, etc. AP EAMCET exam centre officials will check candidates for these things and any candidate found with any of the above items will not be permitted to take the test

  • AP EAMCET exam centre authority/officials will get biometrics done for each test taker, including fingerprint impression and photograph, before allowing them into the examination hall

  • Only exam invigilators at AP EAMCET exam centres will direct the test takers to their allotted computers/nodes in the examination hall.

Instructions on Online Examination

  • The exam will commence exactly at the time given on the Admit Card, and the invigilator will announce that effect.
  • Entrance exam will last three hours and consist of 160 questions, with 80 questions in Mathematics, 40 questions in Physics, and 40 questions in Chemistry, all of equal weightage.
  • Each question has four responses, with one correct answer.
  • There is no negative marking for incorrect answers
  • All calculations and written work must be completed on rough sheet given, which must be handed over to the invigilator after exam and must include the Hall Ticket number.
  • Invigilator will verify each candidate's identity using the Hall Ticket during exam.
  • All candidates must follow rules and regulations set by the Convener of the EAPCET, and any incidents of cheating will be dealt with accordingly.
  • Candidates must sign and provide their left thumb impression on the Attendance Sheet.

Counselling details of AP EAMCET 2026

APSCHE conducts AP EAMCET 2026 counselling for candidates who appear for entrance test. APSCHE conducts counselling online to complete the admission process. AP EAMCET counselling process includes payment of processing fee, check verification status, candidate registration, option entry, seat allotment and reporting to the allotted college. 

AP EAMCET 2026 Cutoff

AP EAMCET 2026 cutoff will be released by APSCHE for all categories after the result declaration. The qualifying percentage will be 25% of maximum marks considered for ranking. However, for candidates belonging to the SC/ST, there is no minimum qualifying mark. Admission will be limited to the seats reserved for the ST/SC categories. AP EAMCET 2026 cutoff is calculated based on difficulty of exam, availability of seats , number of candidates participating, and cutoff trends in previous years. After AP EAMCET 2026 results are published, colleges will release AP EAMCET 2026 cutoff.

To qualify for Andhra Pradesh EAMCET, expected cutoff for the general categories is 40 marks out of 160. There is no minimum qualifying mark for SC/ST categories. They are usually expected to score around 30-35 marks to qualify in Andhra Pradesh EAMCET.
