B.E. in Aerospace Engineering - Batch of 2026

Review of Aerospace Engineering in CU.
Placements: The aerospace department had good placements in our college. The highest placement is around 14–15 lpa. There are some internship opportunities from ISR and other companies. The average package is around 6-7 LPA, and almost all eligible students get placed.
Infrastructure: The college has very good infrastructure. There are 4 blocks in the college, each having 4-5 subblocks. There is a library in all the blocks and many private shops in the college for food, apart from the mess. The classes have ACs and wifi and are very big and spacious.
Faculty: The faculty here is good and teachers are friendly and supportive. The teaching quality is very good. The course curriculum is made according to the standards for the industry. There are two msts and one est in a sem. Exams are easy to moderate level.

Chandigarh University - May the best in private universities.
Placements: My seniors started to have internships in the 2nd year, and some got placed in the 3rd year. CU gives training from the 1st semester on how to give interviews for jobs and develop skills, so internships are easily available to every student. The placements at CU are average. If you maintain around an 8 CPG, you will get placed easily. If not, create a LinkedIn profile and list your skills and the courses you pursued (courses provided by CU or Coursera).
Infrastructure: CU is a very good college. The range and availability of books in the library are huge, and the technological facilities within the classrooms are good. They are currently installing ACs, but it's still a work in progress. In the humid environment, it can be difficult to sit, but they are working on it. The sports and extracurricular activities offered on campus are extensive.
Faculty: The faculty members at the university are polite and helpful; they are always keen to assist students in every possible way. As a 3rd-year student, I received a lot of encouragement from the teachers to explore every opportunity. They have great knowledge about the courses they teach. The exam pattern consists of three exams: the first is MST 1 (mid-semester term), in which students take an exam covering the first unit syllabus. After that, there will be a practical MST, followed by MST 2 for unit 2, another practical MST, and finally, the finals.

Ambience is good but there is a lot of crowd.
Placements: In engineering at Chandigarh University, the placements are of average range, the highest package was 12 LPA and the lowest till now was 3.5 LPA. Based on companies that come to recruit the students, on average 10-15 students get placed out of 60. The top roles are basically for maintenance and some for designing the aircraft.
Infrastructure: The hostel facilities are very good. The mess food is also nice. Plus for girls, there are a lot of measures taken for safety. Whenever you want to go outside the campus, you have to get permission and certain measures are taken in an emergency and need. The college infrastructure is big and nice, the size of the campus is around 100-150 acres. There is much greenery to make you feel good. Medical facilities are available, there is a dispensary and also medical staff are present in the hostel during the day and night. There is a big sports complex in the university, inter-departmental games and sports are present for whoever wants to play and amuse themselves, and prize distribution also occurs.
Faculty: Faculty members are good and helpful, they try to get more involved with you. Semester exams are of moderate range, you can crack them with consistency in your study throughout the whole semester. There are various kinds of projects to work on and the faculty members will guide you, projects related to the main curriculum as well as any personal or competitive projects if you are willing to work.

Review of Aerospace Engineering at Chandigarh University.
Placements: The placement records are not up to par. However, companies have started to hire on campus. But the packages offered are low. The top students get placed. The highest on-campus placement offered in 2023 was 5 LPA. However, students can avail themselves of a lot of internship opportunities at government institutions and organizations.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure are quite good. The infrastructure of classrooms is good but can be better. Most of the books can be found in the library. Wi-Fi is available as well. Labs and Hangar are well built. Hostel facilities are above average. Food is good.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful and qualified. The course curriculum is updated every semester as per industry requirements. However, the teaching quality can be improved. Exams are quite easy to pass and are typical engineering-type exams. You need to pay attention in classes, which makes it easier to pass.
Other: I personally chose the course because of my passion. There are some aspects where the quality can be improved, like better lab in-charges and diverse subjects for aerospace. Campus life is good. There are many opportunities to grow here.

It was absouletly perfect.
Placements: 60 percent of students were placed; the highest package was INR 12 lacs per annum, and the least was INR 3 lacs per annum. All have to do some sort of internship; otherwise, they are not able to sit for placements. Google, Microsoft, and Amazon were coming during my graduation years.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is well planned for every course, and there are labs for every practical subject and faculty like any private college. Some were good, some were average, and some were done with care, but I personally found the decorum good and it was good to go.
Faculty: Yes, teachers were helpful at many points. I am still in touch with a few of the teachers who are guiding me in every way possible. Exams are always held at regular intervals, and yes, it is obvious that they are relevant, but not all the exams are to make students ready for industry.

Review of Chandigarh University.
Placements: About 8% of students got placed in our college. The highest salary package offered is 1.7 CPA. Many software giants and a few mechanical and automobile companies visit our college to recruit students. Placements are good in our college.
Infrastructure: Our college provides very good facilities and infrastructure. All facilities are up to the mark. Our college has a good sports and cultural department. The food served in our college is decent.
Faculty: Our teachers are very supportive. They will encourage us in our projects and research papers. They provide enough attention. The curriculum is very basic, and it will make you aware of the industry. You have to work hard to be ready for the industry.
Other: Our course is very technical. Our college is accredited with NAAC A+ grade.

College of opportunities for new generation.
Placements: Our college is known for its placement but there is not so much placements in my branch. As we mostly go for higher studies. If you want to take admission in my branch then it will be around seven lacs average. Companies like Mahindra comes and take student from my branch.
Infrastructure: Hostels have a great infrastructure. Hostels are neat and clean. It is very good for us. Wi-Fi support is very good. Speed of Wi-Fi is awesome. Classroom are also neat and clean. In lab all the equipment are working and can be easily used. Mess food is also eatable.
Faculty: Faculty members are really helpful and they clear all our doubts. All the faculty members are of doctorate level and they are really knowledgeable to answer our questions. Curriculum is really up to date according to industries. Semester exams are taken from the given syllabus itself.
Other: Crowd is coming from different part of India.

Really good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: Usually we got 90 percent placement with top recruiters as isro, hal, air india etc. But sometimes these things contradicts. So we usually go for off campus placements. The quality of placement is tremendous here we get the chances of MNCs Iike tcs wipro.
Infrastructure: Yes we have every essentials in our labs, classrooms, hostels and library. Though we got good facilities in campus. The life is very flexible here the companies organise very events here so that students are not bored of the hectic syllabus The college take good responsibility of students.
Faculty: We got really good teachers. But sometimes some teachers are not that upto mark. Exams are with really good course. Pass percentage is 50 percent. The teachers here are very qualified and experienced. They are very helpful and help us in very conditions.
Other: I chose this course cause I got interest in this. Aerospace is best thing for someone who wants to explore the space. Campus is too much crowded as their is not limit of admissions here.
