College is fun. Whatever you want, you will get in college. Just enjoy.

Placements: 70 percent of students from our college are placed. Many went for an MBA, research, Ph.D., and some went for government exam preparation. The average package is 18 LPA. For my branch average package is 16 LPA, and the placement percentage is about 66 percent. All the top companies that you think will be present.

It has an amazing infrastructure infused with greenery.

Placements: Top recruiting companies for our course, like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Oracle, JP Morgan Chase, PwC, Goldman Sachs, Deloitte, Schlumberger, HPCL, and Piramal, frequently hire students from this branch. Approximately 60-85 percent of students secure internships, primarily starting in their third year. Companies offering internships are Google, Microsoft, Uber, Amazon, and core firms like Hilabs. Good campus life and infrastructure, no city life, good mess and food counter.

Placements: Very nice placement. A different body is framed every year to organise the placement and accommodation related to all the companies and organisations. Good overall placement and packages. A lot of companies come to recruit for different roles, and the lowest package is above 12 LPA.

Outstanding campus life with satisfactory placements and nice infrastructure.

Placements: In 2025, the placement percentage of my branch (Chemical Science and Technology) is about 81 percent. The highest package is 85 LPA, the lowest is 8 LPA, and the average is 21 LPA. Companies like Google, Microsoft, Infosys, Tata, etc., offer jobs to us. Around 50 percent of students of each batch get an internship, but it primarily depends on an individual's skills.

College of dreams IIT Guwahati.

Placements: I am currently perusing B.Tech EEE and currently in am in my 3rd year, as per current year states, average is around 26.7Lpa and I believe about 70 to 80 percent students from electrical branch get sorted easily with decent amount of package, Companies which came for Core electrical were Texas, NVIDIA, Qualcomm, bajaj, micron, and few more, and about intern states about 50 to 60 percent gets the intern.

No, students can not take direct admission in the BTech programme at IIT Guwahati. The college admits students based on score in JEE Advanced. BTech is the flagship course of IIT Guwahati and it is very competitive to take admission in this course.
