Every year, NTA conducts the JEE Main entrance exam for the selection of eligible candidates in IIT, NIT and IIITs. The admission process for JEE Main 2026 (session 1) registrations has been completed. JEE Main 2026 session 1 exam was held from January 21 to 30, and session 2 will be held from April 2 to 9. No, admission to NIT Calicut BTech course is entirely based on merit obtained in JEE Main entrance exam. Candidates can take the test by registering online on the NTA website (nta.ac.in). The students who secure a score greater than or equal to the cutoff marks become eligible for participation in the JoSAA counselling, which is conducted for the final seat allotment. Futher, vacant seats are filled with CSAB Counselling process.
NIT Calicut BTech cutoff 2026 ranged from 1688 to 10233 for the OBC AI category in the first round. This cutoff range is based on the students' performance in the JEE Main exam.
