As per reports, the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) is expected to change the name AP EAMCET. The decision of changing the AP EAMCET name was announced at a press conference. However, an official announcement by APSCHE is still awaited. The examination details will be available at the official website- apsche.ap.gov.in.
AP EAMCET is known as Andhra Pradesh Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test. From 2021 onwards, AP EAMCET shall be known as Engineering, Pharmacy, and Agriculture Common Entrance Test (EPACET). The official notification regarding the name change and exam date to be released by the authority soon.

As per the reports, AP EAMCET 2021 registration will start in the month of May. Earlier, the authority has announced the AP EAMCET exam dates on its official website. EPACET 2021 or AP EAMCET is scheduled to be held from July 12 to 15 for engineering streams and on July 19 and 20 for Biology-based exams.

AP EAMCET Admit Card 2026 will be released on April 28, 2026. The admit card download link will be available on the website cets.apsche.ap.gov.in/EAPCET/. All the registered candidates can download the admit card.

To qualify for Andhra Pradesh EAMCET, expected cutoff for the general categories is 40 marks out of 160. There is no minimum qualifying mark for SC/ST categories. They are usually expected to score around 30-35 marks to qualify in Andhra Pradesh EAMCET.

Candidates must score atleast 25% of the total marks to qualify in Andhra Pradesh EAMCET 2026. Since the exam is conducted for 160 marks, the qualifying score is 40 marks.
