Journey to CSI WITS College:

I believe, we should be very flexible in learning about any new technology that develops day by day. I was a PCM student at the Hyderabad Intermediate College. I secured good marks in class 12, and I chose Engineering for my graduation. So, I appeared for JEE Mains. But, as it was not planned earlier that I would appear for JEE, I didn’t prepare for it and hence couldn’t qualify it. This made me unsure about Engineering, but, then, I got to know about our state’s engineering exam, EAMCET. I appeared for the exam. I was a bit scared for the results because if I had not qualified it at that time, then I might not have had the time to apply for admission through the merit process. But, thankfully, I cleared the exam.

Till that time, I had learned a few things about a few programming languages and also decided to become a passionate web developer. I started researching for those colleges that I can get with my rank. Shiksha.com helped me a lot while I was searching for the college. It provided me a list of colleges to which I can apply with my rank. I got to know that I can apply for a B.Tech. in CSE at CSI WITS College. The college had nice reviews on Shiksha, and it could help me become a web developer. So, I got admitted to CSI WITS college.

Festive Season at CSI WITS

A hidden gem is that college is full of festival-friendly places where we can interact with seniors. We can also collaborate with them as team members of any event. We also celebrate the annual sports meet every year before the Dussera holiday. A very special thing about this college is that Christmas day or Christmas week is celebrated throughout the week, and simultaneously, we get a lot of holidays. One top secret thing is - Every six months, our college hosts exclusive events. Recently, the college collaborated with Aha Entertainment Private Limited for a stand-up comedy and beatboxing show. They even selected some of our students to perform at the state level.

Being tech college students, we also get invited to participate in neighboring tech colleges for hackathons.
