Most Registered Papers in GATE 2025
As expected, core engineering branches had most registrations. GATE CS had a total of 207,851 registrations, followed by GATE CE with 101,596 candidates and EC with 97,394 applicants. These numbers reflect the dominance in traditional engineering disciplines in examination.
After receiving the admission offer letter from GATE COAP, counselling candidates will have three options available to perform, which can be checked below-
- Accept and freeze
- Retain and wait and
- Reject all and wait
In order to get admission to IIT Roorkee DOMS MBA, candidates are required to submit the application form. Check out the below steps to know the complete application process:
1. Visit the official website of the institute.
2. Register and make a new student account by filling in basic details.
3. Login to the student account and fill out the application form.
4. Upload the required set of documents.
5. Pay an application fee and submit the form.
Besides that, EE had 83,255 registrations and ME with 79,830 applicant registrations. Interesting thing to note- the newly introduced branch/subject Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (DA) had a total of 75,854 registrations, showcasing growing demand in data and AI-related roles.

- For BTech, aspirants need to complete the application form for JEE (Main) through the official website of the National Testing Agency (NTA).

- The admission brochure, admission pamphlet and prospectus can be downloaded from this page. Click on ‘Apply Now’ button to proceed further.
- Fill out the application form with all the mandatory details, including guardian info, address of communication, qualifications, etc.
- Upload all the required documents in PDF format. Also, upload a passport-size photograph and signature and JPG/ JPEG format.
- Conclude the application process by paying an application fee using a debit card/ credit card/ net banking.
IIT Madras MA admission is based on candidates' performance in HSEE entrance exam conducted by the institute. The institute is currently accepting applications for MA, interested students need to apply before May 31.
No, IIT Madras does not have the provision of direct admission. The institute admits students based on valid HSEE entrance exam scores.
