GUJCET 2020 exam date has been announced by the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board i.e. August 24. The exam was scheduled to be conducted July 30 for admission to the courses of Engineering and Pharmacy but it is postponed due to spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19).
GUJCET is the abbreviated form of Gujarat Common Entrance Test, which is conducted in offline mode every year. It is a three hours test wherein 120 questions are asked from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology. Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board will announce GUJCET 2020 new exam date at the official website i.e. www.gseb.org. GUJCET 2020 Exam Pattern
Aspirants will get total 120 questions from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in the question paper. There will be two papers namely Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper 1 includes 40 questions of Physics and 40 questions of Chemistry. The time allowed to solve the questions of Paper 1 is 120 minutes (2 hours).
On the other hand, Paper 2 includes the questions of Mathematics. There will be 40 questions and the duration to solve the questions will be 60 minutes (1 hour). The questions will be of multiple-choice i.e. there will be four options out of which aspirants have to choose the correct one. The question paper will be available in Hindi, English and Gujarati language.

GUJCET Marking Scheme
Each section will carry 40 marks i.e. one mark will be awarded to each question. The maximum marks for which the exam will be conducted is 120 marks. There is a provision of negative marking and hence 0.25 marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer.

Things to carry on GUJCET New Exam Date
For appearing in the exam, on the new exam date of GUJCET, aspirants have to carry admit card and a photo identity proof. GUJCET 2020 admit card will be available at the official website for download from July 20 in online mode. Without admit card, no aspirant can sit for the examination. Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board will not share the admit card through email, post, fax, etc. Hence, aspirants can download their admit card by following the procedure given below.
- Visit the official website
- Click on the “GUJCET Hall Ticket 2020” tile
- Fill registered mobile number/ registered email ID and Date of birth/GUJCET application number in the given space
- Enter the captcha code
- Click on “Search hall ticket”
- The admit card will be displayed on the screen in PDF format
- Check the details carefully and download it for further use
