Application for GATE 2027 is submitted online through GATE Online Application Processing System (GOAPS) which is available on the official website: gate2027.iitm.ac.in. Step1 - GATE Registration Process
This is the first stage of the application form. The GATE registration link will be activated on the GOAPS portal. Indian nationals have to register through DigiLocker. For other nationals, they have to provide their full name, email address, mobile number, password, etc.

Step 4 - Application Fee Payment
After all details are filled, candidates will be redirected to the payment gateway. The accepted payment modes include: Internet banking/credit card/debit card/wallet/UPI. The GATE 2027 registration fee is non-refundable and must be paid before the deadline. If payments are made multiple times due to technical glitches, then the additional amount will be credited to the source account within 15 working days.

NOTE: Candidates must note that the fee mentioned above is for a single test paper. Candidates opting for the secondary GATE paper will have to pay twice the fee.
