Gate Exam Form 2027 Link: Last Date & Examination Fees
IIT Madras have activated GATE 2027 application form window. Candidates can also register through an unverified DigiLocker account for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering. The form process is now live on GATE Online Application Processing System (GOAPS). For Indian nationals, DigiLocker registration is mandatory. Once the data is fetched for GATE 2027 form-fill up, enrolment ID and password will be generated. IIT Madras will conduct GATE 2027 on Feb 6, 7, 13, 14, 20, and 21, 2027 in two shifts.

The DigiLocker GATE 2027 is only applicable for Indian Nationals.
GATE enrollment ID is created at time of registration. It is a login credential. GATE registration is roll number given to students. The registration number is printed on hall ticket.

No, GATE exam registration is not free for girls. Female applicants will have to pay half of the registration fee. The GATE exam fee for female applicants is INR 1000 (regular timeline) and INR 1500 (during extended timeline).
As per last year, the GATE registration fee can be checked below -
- For SC, ST, and PwD applicants is INR 1000 during the regular period and INR 1500 during extended period.
- For other candidates, including foreign nationals, the fee is INR 2000 (during the regular period) and INR 2500 during the extended timeline.

The syllabus of SRMJEEE PG and GATE is same, but the questions asked in SRMJEEE PG are moderate level. Most questions are basic and direct formula-based.
