Less than 20% of students will be taking JEE Mains 2025 session 2 exam for the first time or they did not take the session 1 exam. On the contrary, a little more than 10% students who took the session 1 exam will not be appearing in the session 2 exam.

The other side of more students re-appearing in the session 2 exam after taking the session 1 is – students do not get the desired marks. Although several reasons can lead to this from student’s point of view, the one reason was difficulty level of the January session exam that led students underperform and looking to reappear in the session 2 exam to improve their scores.
