JoSAA seat allocation is based on the ranks of the candidates in JEE Advanced and JEE Main. The JEE Main 2026 ranks are used for seat allocation in NITs, IIITs and CFTIs, whereas the JEE Advanced ranks are used for the allocation of seats offered by the IITs. A physical rank list is not released by JoSAA or NTA, or the IITs.

There is no physical JoSAA rank list. However, JoSAA seat allotment is based on JEE Main and JEE Advanced ranks of the candidates, which is termed as the JoSAA rank list. Check all details on the JoSAA rank list 2026 below.

BTech and BArch admissions at all NITs, including VNIT, are centrally managed through JoSAA and CSAB (for vacant seats). Aspirants only have to register for these counselling processes and keep VNIT in their college pre

Yes, participating in JoSAA counselling is mandatory to get a BTech seat in Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. Students must first pass JEE Advanced exam. Then students must register on the official portal for counselling, for final seat allotment.
